BATMAN - THE DARK KNIGHT SETTING

JokerxBats; MxM; ALT/Intermixing Original Plot

---

I did this as a semi request, semi personal fan drabble. I'm not perfect at writing and the Joker has such a hard mind and personality to follow. This is as good as I can get. Sorry if the ideal and wording I uses offends you; but if you don't like it, don't look at it. :I

Also, to let you all know, this is ALT of the movie plot. Where the Joker is hired to kill Bats. But this is how I see things WHILE the movie was going on. Enjoy. And if you all like it enough I will continue it. Plus, LOL in my world of Batman, his bat-mobile would have a TINY air pocket of space behind his seat. It has to be disconnected from the car body if its able to go into bike mode. :I

PS: I own nothing; RIP Heath Ledger.

Prologue:

I was told to kill him.

"Kill him, they said, kill him good."

Of course who was I to reject such a wonderful job? Not me. The task was simple…. Well not really but I was going to do what I thought would work. Now let's see…Can I get in here…No. Fuck. Hmmm how bout here…Nope. AHA! Heeeeeere I go.

I would expect the Batman to keep the door to his machine closed tightly. Or need a security code. Or have something. But nothing; easy peesy.

Now, where to sit; where to hide? AH! Nice spot right there behind his seat. A little tight but if I suck-it in? Yeeees, just right; now to wait.

There we are Bats, just on time. He climbed in, donning that ridiculous suit I didn't quite understand. He didn't even know I was here. I decided to lay low, wait until he was comfortable and out of his safe haven.

I could have killed him in his house. In his bed even. No. That would be way to cliché. His bat-mobile is cliché too…where should I let him take me?

Nooo, correction; I will make him take us somewhere. Yeeees. Perfect. I decided to strike.

"Why hello there Bats, surprised to see me?" my voiced oozed; I was shaking with excitement but I kept my knife to his neck. He didn't make a sound. He didn't flinch. He didn't swerve. His breathing didn't accelerate.

"No. I knew you were there," his voice coldly echoed back, raspy and harsh. The tables were turned but I didn't want to let him know.
