"You've got to be kidding me!"
Everyone stared at him. Usually Max was the calm one of the bunch.
"I assure you, I am not." Ryan's voice held just the right amount of 'don't question me' to render everyone silent. "We have worked long and hard on this, and I will not have it leaked. Not again."
"That was an extra," Chris pointed out. "Not anyone here. We wouldn't do that."
"Because you've never accidently leaked anything, right Chris?"
"That was uncalled for," Chris muttered."You make one mistake..." Max gave him a sympathetic smile.
"I really think we can contain it this time," Ryan was saying. "No one, but those in this room, even know about Karofsky's return. There were no extras involved, and Brad was able to throw the fans off with his Karofsky's story is done comments. Now as I said before I just need each of you to shut down your social media accounts, twitter and face book…"
"Is he shutting down all of tumblr too? Because honestly that is the real problem here," Chris whispered. Max and Darren nodded in agreement.
"Just so I understand, Ryan. Do you want us to delete our accounts? I mean I have over 119,000 followers and Chris has well over a million."
"It's the only way."
"I'm sorry," Chris said, raising his hand up to get everyone's attention. "I can't do it. I'm trying to promote a book and a movie right now. Seriously, Ryan, come on. I swear on all of Brian's nine lives that I will not tell a soul."
Ryan looked over at Brad and Ian. They both nodded in agreement.
"Fine, Chris. You're exempt. You can keep yours."
"What about me?" Darren asked.
"What are you promoting?" Max asked him.
"Stuff…"
"Okay," Ryan said. "Darren's exempt as well."
"Wait," Max complained. "Why?"
But RIB just ignored him as they continued discussing their strategy amongst themselves.
Max glanced over at Darren. "Seriously?"
"Didn't you know, Max?" Darren said with a cheeky smile. "I'm the chosen one."
Max playfully hit him on the arm as Chris just shook his head.
"Okay, so it's settled," Ryan said. "Max, you will delete all social media…"
"I'm the only one? How is that fair?"
"Well, if you're going to whine about it, I'll stop using my twitter, too. Will that make you feel better?"
Max just pouted as Chris gave him a reassuring pat on the back.
"And I'm hardly on mine," Brad offered.
"And I don't even have one," Ian said chiming in.
"I just don't know what I'm going to tell all my fans."
"No doubt," Darren agreed. "Those pirates are fierce and loyal."
"You could say it's your New Year's resolution," Chris suggested.
Max looked over at him doubtfully.
"Sorry, it's all I could come up with on such short notice."
"Perfect," Ryan exclaimed. "So it's decided, and after we leave this room no one will speak of this again. He looked each of them in the eye for effect.
"He has spoken," Darren muttered.
"Someone should seriously tell him that having a God complex is not the same thing as actually being God," Chris said.
"No shit," Max agreed quietly.
"Am I going to have to split you three up again?" Ryan said interrupting their muttering.
They looked around the room. Besides Ryan, Ian, and Brennan they were the only three there.
"Wait," Max said. "What about choreography?"
"Yeah," Darren agreed. "Zach just got on twitter, and you'd have to pry it away from him now."
"How are you going to keep him quiet since Max has a song and dance number?" Chris asked.
"Don't worry," Ryan said with a smile. "Just leave Zach to me."
