Don't ask me why, but I like this ship now too... damn, I like Willshipping (I believe thats Kaito x Kotori) too! I seem to like everything but Skyshipping! I'm really specific, sheesh... anyways, enjoy (hopefully!)
Unexpected
"Yuma."
The boy looked up at his best friend, Kotori Mizuki, who was holding something that looked like Valentine's chocolate. His mouth began to water as he made a grab for it, stopped by the greenette's hand in his face. "It's not for you! I wanted to ask you something..."
"Ehm, shame! What?" he asked curiously.
"I already asked Rio-san but she isn't sure." Kotori replied. "But do you think that Shark is on the rooftop?"
"Well, it's lunch so maybe..."
"Thank you!"
He watched her speed up the stairs and sighed. Well, he had promised III a duel after the second period, so he had to get going. Meanwhile, the now second-year girl reached the top of their school, pausing to gather her courage before she opened the door. Indeed, Shark was there, sitting in his usual place as he munched on a sandwich Rio-san had made for all the Emperors that morning (she only knew because Vector had complained that his had ham and he hated ham. Naturally, he learned to love it following the bluenette's glare of death). The older teen noticed her and looked at her curiously. Gulping, Kotori walked up to him as he jumped down, crumpling the paper and throwing it into a nearby trash can - the teachers having decided that if they already had to be there, let them be eco-friendly. The purplehead looked at her, cocking his head to the side.
"Can I help you?"
"Ehm..." she began nervously, her hands shaking thus making the chocolate shake. "I..."
Without words, Shark reached out and took it. "I believe this is for me. Thank you." he actually smiled for her. He smiled. "I will buy you something for White Day."
"You don't h-have to..." Kotori blushed as he chuckled, before smirking as he leaned down. Stunned, she closed her eyes onto feel his lips on her cheek. Moments later he had pulled away, still smirking.
"But I want to."
With that, he left, eating the chocolate as he walked back down. She was glad to see that he had a pleased expession on his face as he did.
