A/N 0kay I haven't updated any of
my stories in a while, but that's because I've been having some
problems at him. I'm okay, but a friend of mine was having trouble
with things and things were very tough and goo for a while. Things
are better now and my friend who was having trouble is doing okay,
and I have decided to write her a story to help her feel better. Like
dyslexia, this is an issue that is very prevalent into day's
society, especially given the media and the state of our youth today.
I will be adding more information in my profile soon so that you can
learn more about this hot topic.
ALSO Andrea in Sweet Valley WILL
BE UPDATED. I haven't forgotten about it, I promise, but it was
hard to focus on my writing when problems like that were going on.
THEREFORE HERE IS MY NEW STORY, IN ADDITION TO ALL MY 0LD 0NES.
Loren was
fifteen years old, a normal fifteen. Her life was that of a normal
fifteen-year-old, she liked going out with her fiends, listening to
music, and avoding her homework as much as possible. But Loren liked
to party. 0h yes, she liked to party. And at parties, there were
always things like chips and soda and other snacks like candy.
Now, Loren was a very heaty size and wait. She was not the sinnyest
person in the world, but that was perfectly all right because what
matters is your heart and mind, not your body. And because she was
perfectly healthy, the doctors said she didn't need to lose any
weight if she didn't want to. And, because she was comfortable with
herself and had high self as steam, she didn't.
But
regrettably, at whatever time she went to these social gatherings,
citizens perceived her consuming a lot of vicuals of an insalubrious
persuasion. She was cognizant enough of her vigor and cadaver not to
eat too much and always knew where to depict the procession, but she
was such a staple of the nibble counter at revelries that she began
to cultivate a morsel of a status. "Loren is a corpulentposterior,"
the populace said. She was only extremely slightly chunky, but as is
archetypal of teenagers in this day and age, all and sundry
arbitrated her because her body wasn't the pristine body of a
supermodel.
All this made Loren totally emo. She actually
became the stereotype of an emo person, which was very sad because
she had been very happy and bright before. She didn't cut, but she
wore a lot of black and was very depressed all the time. Soo she
began to avoid eating around other people. Her closest friends never
saw her eat, and neither did her family. This was because Lauren
wasn't eating- at lest, not very much. She ate a lot of slimfast
bars and shakes, and sometimes ate fruit, but that was all. All of a
sudden she started to lose weight. Everyone assumed that she had
decided to look skinnier and complimented her on her good looks, but
that wasn't enough for Nora. She was still not happy, and kept
wanting to be skinnier and skinnier. Even when the kids at school
stopped teasing her, she thought that she was fat. Even when the kids
at school started telling her she was too skinny, she thought that
she was fat. Soon Loren weighed less than one hundred pounds, and for
some tone her age that is never a good idea. Her parents tried to get
her help, but she always found new ways to purge. Her friends were
very worried about her.
It almost seemed like nothing would go
right for Loren ever again. She seemed trapped in a cycle of
self-deprivation, and all because of America's self-image centered
culture and how it had spread over to Englihad, where Loren lived.
That all changed, however, the day Loren finally got her Hogwarts
letter.
