Raven ran up to the roof, crying. She felt like her heart had been ripped apart. She and Robin had been dating for three months, and she was just supposed to say, "Okay, fine, let's move on," when she found out he was cheating on her? I don't think so.
Flashback—Two Monthes Earlier
"Robin, don't forget me forever, okay?" said Raven as she hugged him.
"Never ever could I do that, it would hurt me to hurt you like that." He quoted from one of her favorite books.
She giggled. "Thanks." She whispered.
End Flashback
"Now he's cheating on me—with Starfire! And he has the nerve…"
Flashback—Earlier that day
"Robin!" called Raven. She walked into his room, then stopped short. Starfire was sleeping on Robin's bed—in Robin's arms.
"I. Don't. Believe. It." She said, and her voice woke Robin up.
"Raven, what? Oh no. Ohnoohnoohno. This isn't what it looks like."
"What else could it be!"
"Well—I was feeling depressed, and Starfire came and helped me."
"Oh, she helped you. That makes everything better."
"Raven, please. Do whatever you want. Just don't say it's over."
"It's over."
"Raven, I still love you!"
"Why then? Why are you doing this?"
He smiled at her sadly.
"Because I love Starfire more."
End Flashback
"Raven! What are you doing?" yelled a voice behind her.
She twisted her body to face the intruder.
She smiled. "Hi Speedy."
He sat down next to her. "So, what's up?"
"The sky?"
"You know what I mean."
"Robin cheated on me."
"He DID! That dirty, good-for-nothing scumbag…"
She placed a finger on his lips. "As long as he's happy, I'll be okay. Love is…omnipotent. Without love, earth would be just the waiting line to get into hell. And believe me, you do not want to go there."
"But it still hurts." Commented Speedy softly.
She smiled softly. "Yah, it does. It's just…it always seems like love is like an oxygen mask, it saves you when you're falling. But when it gets taken away, that's when you learn that you really can stand on your own."
"Rae." Said Speedy. "If Robin doesn't want you, it's his loss. I want you to know, I'll always be here for you."
"Thanks, Speedy." She said, then kissed him softly. "C'mon, let's go downstairs. I wonder what the others are doing.
With that, they exited the rooftop.
Okay, it sucks, but I was trying to meet all the guidelines, which were…

-I would prefer if there was a couple at least by the end
-characters can be OOC, but the differences between Robin and Speedy might help for your story
