AN: So this is my first fan fiction on this site, yeah! :) Criticism is great but it's even better if it's constructive. This story was written for a prompt I found on Google images, I know... just how thrilled did that news make you. The story was written because it was late and I was bored so I hope it's not to awful. Wow, this turned into a lot of information that was not needed, so on with the story.
Tony and Loki were arguing again, but this time it was more serious. Neither of them could remember why they were arguing but they both wanted to win. So the fight escalated until finally the threat of leaving the other was thrown into the argument.
It had been Loki to say those dreaded words and after they had left his lips he instantly regretted them. Loki is a guy, a frost giant guy, but a guy none the less; this being said even though he didn't know why he wanted to win the argument, he still wanted to. This being left in the open not being taken back a flash of hurt swept into Tony's eyes, quickly squashed and covered up before the other man could notice; Loki knew Tony to well and saw it.
Tony ripped off his shirt loosing his poker face and anger shone across his features. The soft blue light of the arc reactor glowed in the dim kitchen, before the light stopped of course. A loud THUNK could be heard through out the quite room as the disconnected reactor hit the table.
"If you're going to leave then take that with you, because I don't want to live without you!" Tony yelled angrily as his skin visibly paled. Loki was astounded and didn't move until Tony's was having difficulty breathing and was swaying dangerously.
The frost giant dove just in time to catch the falling engineer, he grabbed the one thing keeping shrapnel out of his boyfriend's heart. He fumbled as he desperately tried to put the magnet back in, when Tony let out a gasp Loki aloud himself to sigh in relief. Loki cradled Tony in his arms and he started crying in to the other man's hair. It was then that he realized that he had never been as scared in his entire life as he had been right at that moment.
The next morning Tony woke up on his kitchen floor… with no shirt on. He also realized he was being hugged very tightly against a sleeping Loki, who had tear stains streaking his cheeks. The raven haired man began to stir and as his eyes fluttered open and landed on the awake engineer he sighed in relief.
"Don't you ever do that again Anthony Stark, you scared years off of my life," Loki grumbled against Tony's hair. "I'm sorry, and know now that I love you and will never ever even think of leaving you."
This being the first time that either of them had ever used the L word, Tony was shocked. But as a sudden realization struck him and he rolled over so he could face the other man. "I love you too, Loki."
