"That child was meant to be yours, not your sisters." The Apprentice tells Regina.
"What do you mean?"
"You did the right thing, Regina."
"I don't understand." She says confused as she tries to step back, away from the hand that reaches toward her belly. When did he come this close to her in the first place? But his hand touches her despite her considerably weak resistance, and she is suddenly overwhelmed with magic, now completely unable to move away from the old man. The only thing she can do is to look sideways at Emma fearfully. Yes, she is really afraid, and she is tired. She had more than enough bad things happening to her recently, and honestly all she wants is to go home and curl up in her bed. She can't deal with any more pain right now.
"What are you doing?" She hears Emma questioning The Apprentice in alert.
"I'm giving her what she deserves." He answers simply, like there is nothing to worry about. After all that happened with them, he expects these two women to believe in anything.
And of course Emma doesn't buy it, she is right at Regina's side with three long steps. But she is already too late, because the strange magic has begun to flow and she can't pull Regina away, no matter how hard she tries. The magical force is stronger than her, stronger than The Savior. And she ends up not being able to protect Regina again. She is desperate, but all that she can do right now is to hold onto the slightly shaking woman with tears in her brown eyes.
Regina wants to fight. She doesn't care what The Apprentice is planning to do to her, all she knows is that she doesn't want to be used anymore. She feels sick and she feels pain in her lower belly. Like cramps. She wants to beg him to stop hurting her, but in the next minute she is released from the magical hold only to bend over at the waist. Soft hands prevent her body from falling face forward onto the ground as the pressure gets too much in her stomach and she has to relieve it.
She is sick for a few minutes. She has to drop to her knees half way through the uncomfortable process, but Emma is there, by her side all the time to offer any support Regina lets her give. And Regina is not in a state to object to anything really. She is getting heavier in Emma's arms.
"What have you done to her?"
"I told you. I gave her what she deserves. It's her baby now."
Emma is speechless. Mouth open, she pulls Regina's unconscious body closer, to try to make her rest more comfortably in her lap.
"Now we can go back to Storybrooke."
