A/N: I came up with this oneshot while listening to Ne-Yo's song, "Do You?" the song lyrics are not in this fic, because it would be too confusing, and I'm thinking of making this almost a response letter to From Me To You. It's not the same as the other one though.

Lily,
I promise to not talk to you again. I just have questions that I want answered. Did you ever think of me as more than a brother?
I wish you could have seen in me more than that. It hurt when you stopped talking to me after I called you the 'M' word. I don't want to push you further away than I already have.
I loved you as more than a friend, Lils. I didn't see what you saw in Potter, but I knew you didn't see that in me. Was it because of what my parents did? Was it because of what I did to your sister?
I loved you because you saw in me what my parents never did: I was a person that deserved to be listened to. You protected me until Fifth Year when you turned your back on me.
Does Potter treat you right? Does he stand by your side, in this war where you and I are on opposite sides?
I understand that what we had is gone, even though a lot of it never was, except maybe in my head. I understand that you have Potter and your son in your life now, but could I at least have one little bit of your heart, just a small piece so that I don't feel so broken?
I love you, Lils, even though you don't feel the same. I would protect you if you let me. Please let me, Lils. I could never forgive myself for what I did, but I forgive you.
I understand that I had gone too far, and was maybe too stubborn and wanted to show my House-mates that I wasn't soft. It doesn't help that I lost you in the process.
Please understand I never meant for that to come out, but it did because I wasn't thinking and had been hanging around some of the guys in Slytherin for too long.
