One Day
Your every thought, word, and deed,
Are in my heart as it has grieved.
As I am left to think alone,
I contemplate on what I have known.
My whole world falling apart,
When everything seems to crush the heart.
Weeks of thinking trying to heal,
Upon my heart a heavy weight to feel.
As the days go on and on,
My heart feels like it has done something wrong.
Trying to gain the trust I have lost,
Counting my greatest fear of loss.
One day thinking deeply you will find,
The way to forgive me with peace of mind.
Waiting until I get a word one day,
"Will you ever forgive me?" I will say.
Your every thought, word and deed,
Upon that day will sprout from the hidden seed.
