AN: Hey it's me again, just to let you all know that I am working on a full length book but I'm only publishing one-shots at the moment because I want to practice my writing style and have my book half written before I publish it so I am more likely to finish it :)
As always reviews are welcome and I always like to improve so constructive criticism is also welcome
The gift of the Kiss
He had travelled for many miles, through all types' weather just for her. From the blazing, unforgiving sun and heat of the harshest desert to the bone chilling conditions of the deadliest winter terrains. He had battled many creatures, many he knew he couldn't even tell the tale to his closest friends back home in Brooklyn, not that they would believe him anyway.
From the common goomba and loyal Koopa to their leader, king Bowser, even battling his eight children. To be fair they were all a pain he could do without, but he would do it every hour of everyday for her.
Before he called this world his home he did have a girlfriend, a beautiful one named Paulina.
Back then he did crazy things for her too, like climb to of unstable structures, dodging barrels that could have easily knocked him to his doom just to save her.
He knew now that he would do, and has done even more for the princess in pink that always managed to get herself kidnapped and needed saving.
How did he do it, he had went from running a simple plumbing business with his brother Luigi to being a hero, saving everyone and just about everything.
Sometimes he wished he could change his life back to the way it was where his weeks would be spent putting his feet up eating pasta and watching TV with his brother in their little apartment back in Brooklyn.
In his heart he knew he could never go back. He could never live with the guile when Bowser decided to launch another attack on the Mushroom Kingdom and he didn't do anything to help Princess Peach and her people, he couldn't bear it.
There was another reason he did all the crazy things, the reason he even got involved in the first place, love. He was so loyal to the ones he loved, some would call him a fool but he didn't listen, he told the one's he held dear to him that he would risk everything to help them in their time of need, and he meant those words when he said them.
For his true love he would chase after her for days on end, knowing of the struggles that would lie ahead. He would do it all just to show her how much he cared, how much he really loved her.
He knew she loved him back, she had to. Every time he saved her, she would show her affection with the gift of a kiss.
