"mommy!" "Where are you taking my mommy?"
The woman sitting with the small pink haired child tried to calm her down, not in any way succeeding. A man in blue scrubs walked over to the nurse sitting beside the small child, a sad look on his face, as he told her, "She didn't make it."
"WHERES MY MOMMY?"
"You mommy's dead sweetheart."
The small child stared at them, unable to believe them.
"YOU'RE LIEING!"
The man sighed as the nurse left to contact an orphanage, the small child crying loudly now, as he thought to himself, 'Damn drunk dad shot her mom then himself, right in front of the kid no less.'
The nurse came back soon saying that someone from the orphanage would be there soon to pick the child up. Not long after the nurse left a man came up to the desk stating he was here to pick up a child, the receptionist nodded in their direction and the man looked over to see a girl about 5 or 6 with natural pink hair and emerald green eyes staring up at him with tears in her eyes. He walked over and took the little girls hand as she got up and went with him. As the man left with the little girl he looked back at the doctor who seemed to have the eyes of a snake.
"Dr. Haruno to the ER please. Dr. Haruno to the ER please." Came over the speaker, a pink haired medic sighed as she walked to the ER to take care of the latest injured person. Her shift at the hospital for the day was almost over when she got done, it had been an anbu team that had just returned, most were fine, except for Genma and that was because she had to put him through a wall since he had groped her. She had just made it to her office when a knock sounded on her door, she sighed and opened it to reveal Hinata, they smiled brightly at each other as Sakura told her to have a seat.
"So Hinata what brings you into my office?"
"Tsunade sent me to let you know you have a mission."
Sakura smiled thinking it was about time when Hinata spoke again, "You have to give the Suna anbu team, as well as the Kazekage, a physical checkup when they get here."
'Are you serious?'
'Well at least know we can get a look under Gaara's clothes!' her inner said, she hadn't said much lately, which was a surprise, but whenever she did it had something to do with Gaara which was strange since the last time she saw him he had tried to kill her.
"Hello earth to Sakura." Hinata said as she waved her hand in front of Sakura.
"Sorry I spaced. So when do they get here?"
"Actually where already here." A tall red head standing in the door way said, a smirk on his face. "Long time no see Sakura."
