"La La La." Kayla sang while dancing in circles. She didn't know she was being watched until she heard someone chuckle at her playing air guitar to one of the songs on her mix CD.
"Why are you watching me while I parctice my dancing?" Kayla asked placing her hands on her hips and spinning around to face Nate. They were cabin neighbors here at Camp Rock and eventually fell in love, with lots of help from Shane and Jason.
"What I can't watch my girlfriend practice her dancing?" Nate asked coming over and giving her a hug.
"Not unless you would like to help." She said seriously.
"Fine. What do you need me to do?" He asked.
"Could you go fill this up with water from the mess hall please?" Kayla asked handing him her water bottle.
"Sure thing Miss Boaz." He replied bending over and giving her a kiss.
"Nate, you can't distract me I'm in the zone." She said making funny hand gestures.
"Fiesty." Was all he said walking out of the door.
"You got that right Mister." She yelled after him. She went back to her rotine, only to be interupted by Shane.
"Why is Nate always so lovey dovey with you?" He asked.
"I don't know. You and Jason are the ones that got us together." Kayla said sitting in the middle of the floor and crossing her legs attempting to meditate. It didn't work.
"It's just gross ok?" Shane started. "He's all you talk about in rehersals for the final jam and everything."
"Why are you getting so worked up about this?" I said getting up my voice rising.
"Because Nate needs to focus on our future not you two." Shane yelled. Nate had just walked in the door and was listening to the whole thing.
"Well, ya know what I'm through with Camp Rock I'll be going home in a few days." Kayla yelled through tears running out of the door.
"Smooth Shane. Look what you did ya big jerk." Nate yelled at him running after Kayla.
"Kayla!" Nate called.
"I'm over here." She said softly from her place on the dock.
"Kayla, Listen to me." Nate started. "Shane, is just stressed about The Final Jam. He wants us to be together, he even said so himself once."
"I know Nate. But, what he said just hurt me." Kayla said looking into his eyes.
"He's just being a jerk, don't pay attention to him keep your pretty little eyes focused on me." Nate said. This caused her to giggle.
"See. I got you to giggle." Nate said kissing her.
"MY EYES I'M BLIND!!" Jason yelled running past them.
"Jason you're an idiot!" We heard Shane yell from their cabin. They heard a loud thud then Jason yell 'Sorry'.
"Come on, lets go rescue Jason from Shane before he kills him." Nate said holdining out his hand to help me up.
