Cute little one-shot with Austin and Ally. Auslly. Minor hints at Dally and Brostin (Bro/ooke Au/stin). Might turn it into a full story later.
"Ally?" Austin asked cautiously from outside the practice room. He had just gotten a text asking him to meet her there ASAP. "Ally, are you ok?" he called, hearing muffled sobs inside.
The sobs quickly stopped and Ally opened the door. Austin's jaw dropped. Ally's eyes were red and puffy from crying and cheeks had tear stains all over them. The practice room full was covered in tissues- that was the weirdest part, because Ally threw EVERYTHING away, no matter what. She even lost her chance to get a car because she had to throw something away and someone else bought the car before her.
"Are you ok?" Austin asked her softly. Ally burst into tears again and fell into his arms. He half-dragged her into the practice room and closed the door. After she cried for a few seconds he sat her down on the piano bench and sat next to her, then put his arm around her.
"What's wrong?" he asked her, gently stroking her hair.
"Dallas," she said. Austin sighed.
Last week Dallas had come back from vacation and asked Ally out. Obviously Ally had accepted, since she had been crushing on him for awhile- even though he says libary instead of library. The next day, Austin saw him with Brooke, who was Austin's girlfriend. Austin broke up with Brooke but couldn't work up the nerve to tell Ally about it. So probably Ally found out. But he knew that if he admitted to have already known it, she would get mad. So…
"What happened?" he asked.
"He-he was with another girl…" Ally said and burst into tears again. Austin pulled her close.
"It's ok, Ally," Austin said and stroked her hair again. "If he was really meant for you he wouldn't have cheated on you." This was a bad choice of words because it only made Ally cry harder. "Ally…" Austin sighed. He never knew what to say but he hated to see Ally so upset. "C'mon, let it out…" he told her and stroked her hair.
"I always mess things up," she said through tears.
"What?" Austin asked, and pulled Ally away for a second in order to see her face.
"First I break Ethan's heart, then I accidently ask Dez on a date- don't ask-, then Dallas decides I'm not good enough for him!" she said through tears. After a small chuckle at the Dez part, Austin turned serious again.
"How is it your fault that Dallas is a jerk?" Austin asked Ally. She started to speak, but he stopped her. "It isn't your fault. Dallas doesn't deserve someone like you. And you deserve something better than him."
Ally smiled. "Thanks Austin," she said and hugged him tighter.
"No problem," Austin replied and hugged her back. For a second, they just sat there, but finally Ally stood up, so Austin followed suite.
"Thank you…for always being there for me," Ally said and kissed Austin on the cheek, leaving the rock star dumbfounded as she headed down the stairs.
