Kelly Parker wasn't someone who looses sleep easily, but the night when she came home after loosing her National title to Kaylie Cruz, Kelly just lost it. She would never admit this, but coming home to an empty house sometimes hurts her more then just loosing. At that moment Kelly actually considered Payson Keeler's position to be better than hers; Keeler had her friends, her caring parents. Taking a deep breath to calm herself down, she dropped the thought of wanting to be in Keeler's position. Kelly throws her gym bag on the polished wooden floor and walks down the long dark corridor to her room.
This dark house doesn't feel like a home by any means, there is no warmth at all. The kitchen doesn't emit the smell or fresh baked bread or chocolate chip cookies, heck the heat wasn't even on. The thick curtains were always drawn, because her parents didn't want the sun to fade the furniture, hence it allowed little to no sunshine through. At this moment tears started forming at the corner of Kelly's eyes, but she quickly reminded herself that being feeling sad for herself isn't necessary, it was wimpy. And wimpy and weak doesn't go along with the name Kelly Parker.
When Kelly reached her room, she went to her desk to pull out magazine with Princess Cruz and Nick on the cover thinking that she was going to go with her usual release technique, vandalizing Kaylie's face. She even remembered walking into the local grocery store seeing her perfect little face on the stands, hand in hand with Nick in the white evening gown with her tan limbs gracefully extended. That cover was like a slap to Kelly Parker's face, and she was actually embarrassed of standing there next to the magazine. It should have been her. At that moment, Kelly grabbed every magazine on the stands and bought all of them, first to keep anyone from seeing and purchasing it, second she thought she can always use it as a dart target if it was necessary.
In her room, sharpie in hand, Kelly began to draw furiously on the Boulder Bitch's face. Kelly knew during her reign she at least kept it classy, she knew she gave snarky comments and spread a rumor or two but never has she done anything to harm anyone physically. She laughs to herself when she realized that she even kept it classy while nicknaming Kaylie the Boulder Bitch, she had used alliteration. But at that moment giving Kaylie three eyes, a unibrow and a goatee didn't help her feel any better.
The feeling of emptiness overcame her like a wave pounded the shores at night. At that moment she thought nothing could ever make her feel better until she hears three knocks on her front door and someone saying "hey Parks, its me… open up."
Authors note: This is the result of procrastination. Review and comment please! And also who is excited about tomorrows finale? The show better be renewed….
