Not sure why this came to mind, but it amused me.

Prologue:

Trixie Tang was not having a good day. Her disguise had given her a rash and the latest issue of Crimson Chin didn't come out like it was supposed to. Now, she had to deal with Veronica whining about some boy that she had a crush on. Some kid named Tommy, or Tammy, or something like that; his name seemed familiar, but she couldn't place it for anything.

That was when she noticed someone walking across her front yard. Looking outside, she saw a girl who looked like her, if one could ignore the gap between her teeth. She walked across the yard, avoiding the cameras; indeed, if Trixie hadn't been bored, she wouldn't have looked outside the window and seen the intruder in the first place. Cursing to herself to make sure her security staff would be punished later for this, she went to her front door and opened it to find herself face to face with the stranger.

Trixie glared at her, irritated at this … nobody who dared to invade her property. "Who are you, and why shouldn't I have you shot and arrested?" she demanded, growing slightly.

The mystery girl spoke slowly. "We need to talk. Someone is coming for you and I can help you."

"Yeah?" Trixie responded, skeptically. "Well, start helping me by telling me who you are and why I care."

The girl calmly responded, "My name is Tootie Turner. I am your daughter."
