Jenn sat in front of her computer simply staring at the blank screen and willing the words to come. Finally, she started typing.
"Some things are better off not known. Some things, if you push them and pry them and try to make sense of them will not bend, will not break, but will simply cease to be. Professor, you did not pry into my mind with your powers, for that I thank you. However, you did use Logan. Unforgivable, we might have been friends. You wanted to know what made me tick, why I was so irate all the time. Settle your inquisition now, you will never know, and neither will I.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Moore"
She put the letter in an envelope and packed her belongings, they all fit into one suitcase. She slipped the letter under the professors door and then slipped out the front gates and into her 'vette and sped away from the school, leaving no mark behind but angry memories soon to be forgotten by all but one heart that had hoped to find a partner in this choleric child. And as Logan watched, the only soul that had ever shown any semblance to his sped out of his life, seemingly forever.
