Chapter 1

"Is that the battle pyramid? Ash shouted as he looked up at the flying structure that held so many memories. But as for Paul it held some of the worst memories, all he could think about was his brother losing and giving up on being a Pokémon master, but what he did learn that day was that power was important and he needed to be strong to get power, he didn't want to be like his brother.

"Let's go check it out, everyone get in the van." Reggie said, everyone piled in as Paul held a look of disgust, he listened as his brother entertained the group of losers, with his story of failure, and he couldn't understand how he could be so proud of failing. Not soon enough they were in front of the pyramid, Paul leading the way as they walk into the arena.

"Paul what are you going to do?" Reggie asked.

"I'm going to challenge him and do what you couldn't do." Paul said with a slight drop of emotion, he wouldn't say it out loud but he also wanted to beat Brandon since Ash had, even if it took him a couple times to do it, Paul knew he was better.

"Guys, let's just leave, please." Dawn said as he held a slight blush on her face, she was all for watching Paul battle and cheer him and even if he didn't want her to, but what she didn't want was for someone to learn her secret. She heard Paul call out hoping someone will accept his challenge, instead she heard the sounds of some very old friends.

"Dragg on ite"

"Te di ursaaa"

"Espe on"

The group of males watched as they all tackled Dawn to the ground and showered her in affection, everyone looked confused at each other and mostly Dawn.

Wow that's really weird what's up with these pokemon, Ash thought.

Huh for a pokemon to show that much affection towards a person they have to have a very strong bond, both breeders having similar thoughts.

And as for Paul he didn't keep his thoughts to himself so instead of staying quite he said it out loud, "What the hell is going on here, where the hell is the frontier brain and why are these pokemon all over you!"

"Well that's because my brothers pokemon have finally been able to see the little girl their master has brought into this world, for the first time in 5 years, and hoping to go with her on her journey." Brandon says coming out from the shadows.

"What!" All 4 males said as they looked at her. "If those are your brothers pokemon then that would make Dawn your niece and her brother your father." Brandon nodded his head as Dawn blushed before doing the same.

"They don't know about you do they? Or at least not all about you?" Brandon looked at the blue haired girl, in shock.

"Yes they don't know the truth because I didn't want them to know but I guess now I have no choice do I?" The boys nodded their heads all of them holding curiosity in their eyes including Paul. She let out the breath she was holding and so she began her story.

"Well you see…
