"No," The red-headed teen replied with a huff, there was no way in this god-forsaken world he would ever agree to try visiting that little snot EVERY DAY. "Just help me out on this, alright boss? He's just been hauled in the room of reckoning, and practically working himself to death. He needs interaction with people Phones, just atleast try a week, please?," The older man pleaded, making the boy calm down abit. He respected Mr.H, actually , he idolized him in every aspect of what he lives and breathes for, but Joshua… Well, his emotional wounds were still healing, and the bastard didn't even bother to show up at their meeting place, what made Mr.H think he'd even want to see him? "Because he just does Phones, he's ridiculous and ever since you've moved on, all he's done is internally waste away from boredom and lack of contact," The graffiti artist answered, surprising the youth. Did he have no privacy within his mind?! "No. No you don't Neku, now just try and don't come back til you do!," He says , shoving the younger out the door of his cafe. This better be worth it.

"Hey Joshua! Ya here?!," He yelled down the sewer corridors, he walked slowly in, no walls blocking his path. Maybe he really was expecting him. The teen continued on, everything still in place from the battle with the former conductor. He shivered slightly as he kept on, was it always this cold down here? He shrugged off the feeling as he got to the Room of Reckoning, the composer sitting idly on his throne, absolute warmth and grace coming from his form. It felt comfortable being near, and he absolutely shined, but there was something off about it. Yes, a feeling of replenished energy had filled him, and he definitely felt warmer contrast to the outside of this particular room, but the man above looked close to miserable. "J-joshua," the boy tried again, getting the ruler to look down towards him, amethyst eyes widened in shock. "Neku, why are you here?," He asked, coming down from his throne on white feathery wings, aging slowly as he got to his RG form. "Mr.H sent me here to keep you company, said you were lonely..," He trailed off, now that he got a good look at the once annoying teen, he actually wasn't bad to look at without the smirk, really pretty to be completely frank, but without the glow, he saw just how the toll of time it took to get here was. He was thinner, paler, and being close to him made him feel abit chillier. Without any given warning, the boy gave the ashen-blonde a hug, he didn't need it for the warmth, he did it to shatter the lonely vibe coming forth from the composer. Petrified, he hugged back, not knowing what to do otherwise. "I forgive you".

A week later

He sat next to his newly pronounced best friend, smiling blissfully with the blonde now stable and healthy, a new found glow etching onto his features as he smiled. He'll admit, visiting him daily sounded like a terrible idea, but now, he's excited for these times with him, like not sitting around like this everyday without him wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable. "Hey Neku, want to know something interesting?". "Will you tell me anyway if I say no?". "Hush. Well, did you know that rabbits could die of loneliness when it's mate dies or leaves suddenly?", the redhead turned to him suspiciously, what did that have to do with anything? The teen had no time to process it any further as his lips were briefly captured by the older, smirking as his proxy blushed bright red "Thank you for coming back to me, my dear dear partner".
