Just a lil poem Disclaimer: I don't own Gundam Wing? *sniff* Not even Wuffiekins, alright? Alright? You made me admit this, you onna! Injustice! *sob*

A/N: A poem I wrote while watching Gundam Wing for school about death and love. I am ridiculously proud of it -- my first Italian sonnet, and most of the lines are iambic, and it has alliteration and assonance too! -- for some obscure reason, and I had to share it with someone, or burst in solitary ecstasy. Anyways, it's Meiran's POV, dunno why, because the episode I was watching didn't even have Wufei in it.

Something serious, for once...

Untitled

Disconsolate, I walk among the dark
Nine Wells of Afterlife, my love as deep
As they; even in death I cannot sleep
Here where there sings no solitary lark
Sublime strains to wake me from nightmares - Stark
Wastelands of lonely years which still I keep,
Shadow'd among lovelorn spirits who weep
Unknown, under the night's cold, distant arc.

But I, touched by your love, am neither fiend
Nor Faery-god: without power to bless
Your lone days, to wipe from your soul the stain
Of tears, to touch your shoulder that I lean'd
Against once. - Nothing more and nothing less
Than a melancholy ghost in the rain.
