The New Asgardian Rulers
3 years after the Avengers
2013
Asgard
It was time. Thor was about to be crowned the new King of Asgard. His father was too old now to rule and it was now Thor's time. His mortal wife Jane was by his side getting ready for the ceremony. Both had thoughts of their daughter that they had to give away to earth 20 years ago because of the Frost Giants attacking Asgard. They left their daughter in the mortal world for her safety. Now they didn't know where she was. But they knew in their hearts that she was alive. Hopefully they will meet again one day. Thor needed her as his heir. Jane and he haven't had any other children so Demelza was their only child and so would be the Crown Princess when Thor became King. They needed to find her. But they didn't know if they could. She is well hidden she would now be 20. All grown up. They had missed everything. But they both knew it was a small price to pay for her safe life.
"Are you ready?" Sif asks coming into their room
"Yes. We are just lost in thoughts. Let's go it is time", Thor says in a strong voice
Jane and Thor hand in hand make their way to the throne room the trumpets blare. They walk gracefully with Thor's parents by their side into the throne room and done the isle were everyone was gathered. They walk to the throne were both Thor and Jane sit in the top thrones. Odin and Gaea at the side.
The Archbishop comes up and welcomes everyone here to a life changing day before turning to Thor. The Archbishop take the crown of Odin's head and puts it on Thor's and take's Gaea's crown and puts it on Jane's. He then hands Thor the golden sceptre of Asgard to Thor.
"Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of Asgard and the Cosmos to any of them belonging or pertaining, according to their respective laws and customs?" the Archbishop asks
"I solemnly promise so to do", Thor booms
"I solemnly promise so to do", Jane says
"Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgements?" the Archbishop asks
"I will", Thor booms
"I will", Jane says loudly
"Will you to the utmost of your power maintain peace across the cosmos?" the Archbishop asks
"I will", Thor booms
"I will", Jane says loudly
That's when the bells ring and the song plays both Thor and Jane stand up and everyone raises their swords as they walk back down the isle.
"All hail their Majesty's King Thor-Hammer and Queen Jane Thor-Hammer", a herald booms
"All hail", the Asgardian's boom
A massive feast follows celebrating the new king and queen. Thor and Jane look at each other they knew they had to find their daughter. But they needed help. They just needed to find the right people for the job. Now that they really couldn't leave Asgard. As they were the new Asgardian Rulers…
