Kate was sprinting down the alley avoid the rubbish that occupied it.
"Kate! wait up" yelled Nate from behind dragging Addie as he tried to keep up the fast pace. But, Kate ignored him continuing the quick pace toward the city's walls.
"Where are we going?" Addie whined in exasperation.
"To see what's going on!" Kate said in excitement.
"Don't you think we should be heading in the opposite way of the danger" Nate said with reason.
"And miss the action you heard the explosions" Kate replied
"I don't want to die. Thank you very much." Nate said with humor. Kate stopped looking for a way on to a roof.
"Hey, sense I am the oldest I am in charge therefore I can make decisions like this" Kate said proudly.
"as the second oldest I have the right to challenge your decisions" Nate Huffed.
"Come on" Kate said climbing a pile of boxes then pulling her self onto the roof her siblings following. "Look,the walls." She said in awe and fear. The walls of Hedera bursting with fire and explosions. Then with a burst of light and sound the wall fell and the defense of Hedera was hopeless.
Nate looked at her with fear "what do we do now."
"We hide" she replied grimly "come on Addie"
"Were are we going" Addie squeaked
"Don't worry, just come on" and with that the climbed of the roof and disappeared into the alleys of Hedera.
