But now I don't know how to feel anymore. I became nothing more than a soulless puppet you control.. But, Still I loved you.. They say I'm foolish, I guess I am. I am a fool in love with the colors of Black and Red..

Asaka check the water tempearture and it's still too hot for her liking so she waited, After a few moments of making sure she will be able to bear the temperature. Finally, she decided is fine then she soaked in but by doing so she grimaced in pain as the warm water hits her sensitive skin even so she used to be in pain or is she?

She traced her abused skin, new bruises and wounds resurface along with the old ones.

Another meaningless fight and beating. It's more likely it started with accusation.

Frowning as Asaka recalled the events that transpired last night:

"Ren, Welcome ba-?!" Asaka didn't managed to finish her sentence as stinging pain blossoms in her cheeks . It took her moment to register what Ren had done to her, he slaps her. She looked at him questionly to meet the cold fury in his crimson eyes. "Ren,What's wrong? Why did you hit me?"

It suprising enough she doesn't cringe nor started crying at Ren's harsh treatment namely 'violence'. She gotten used into it.

"What's wrong? WHAT'S WRONG? YOU'RE WHAT'S WRONG!" Ren raised his voice.

Yep, Definitely fuirous. But, Why?

Not giving Asaka a chance to say anything else, Ren exploded . "HOW DARE YOU! YOU CHEATED AT ME!"

To say Asaka Narumi was loss for words is something new, She blinked with further confusion. "Ren, What are you talking about?! I don't cheated you!" Asaka protested after registering his words.

"LIAR!" Ren had slapped her again. "I've seen you with Tetsu yesterday! Did I tell you not to go near at him again?!"

Oh, That's what his fuming about now...

Asaka remembered clearly Ren had told her to stay away with guys especially with Tetsu and Kyou but they're his and her friends as well, Especially Tetsu, he was Ren's bestfriend so what's wrong hanging out with them ? It's not like she's alone with two boys , Suiko is with them as well. Seriously, Ren should stop being a child and take a bigger picture but that's impossible to happen.

Before Asaka can start to complain from the accusation, Ren efficiently stop her by the next words flew out from his mouth:

"You're a slut!" Ren stated dryly, taking note with mild amusement the hurtful look evident on Asaka's crystal blue eyes.

"I'm not a-mmph?!" Asaka didn't managed to word out her protest once again as Ren crashed his lips against her,ruthlessly. Ren tasted alcohol so he was drunk,huh? That's one of the reason for his violent behaviorbut even he didn't drink alcohol Ren still beats her. She tried to push him away as she needed her air supply to be filled, wanting to break free from the abusive lips of her lover but Ren won't relent such idea. Asaka felt she was about to faint from the lack of oxygen if this continues. Luckily, Ren pulled away for a moment as he needed air as well and Asaka take her time to breathe air.

"Re-"

Asaka was cut off as she found herself pinned to the cold wall. Ren's hands having a firm grip on the girl.

"R-Ren, What are you doing?" Asaka asked hesitantly as she felt rough tongue licking a trial up from her collarbone to her jaw.

"Isn't it obvious enough? I'll show you how much a slut you are and that you're only mine nobody else can have you.." Ren said huskily at her ears,licking her earlope lightly. He felt Asaka's pulse quicken beneath his fingers and it this make him smirked.

"Ren,please stop. This isn't fun-" Asaka was cut off by lips against her own, harsh and demanding, nothing like before.

For the very first time of her living with Ren, Asaka was suddenly very scared of him. Despite of him beating her in the past, Ren never force himself on her and they never had done that in the past as Ren respect her wishes when he isn't going berserk. But now, that gentle finger she had fell in love with, turn wicked, unbuttoning her shirt and she was being silenced by the forceful tongue probing in her mouth. Asaka didn't know what to think or do anymore..

H-How could this happen? Their love was white, peaceful but it turned black as things started to change and it eventually become Red, A disaster.

Why?

Somebody ... Please, Help me!

Just as tears began to form in Asaka's eyes . Somebody had pulled Ren's body away from Asaka and give Ren a hard punched in the face, knocking the red-haired teen down instantly with its brute force.

"T-Tetsu?" Asaka's eyes widened in shock to see her former teammate inside their apartment. Her form is trembling and her legs had given up on her if it wasn't for Tetsu being there and caught her, she will fall hard on the cold floor.

"Are you alright?" Tetsu's voice was gentle and filled with concern unlike the former which is stiff and grumpy. It's nice to hear such a soft and caring tone at times like this it's very soothing.

Asaka nodded weakly and looked up to meet Tetsu's caring eyes, And then it struck her how much Tetsu had cared for her. How stupid she is to noticed that in the past.. Indeed, Very Stupid.

Tetsu noticed the troubled look on Asaka's face so he asked again. "Asaka, are you sure you're alright?"

Asaka snapped in her thoughts and nodded vigorously. But, Tetsu isn't conviced but he didn't voice it out anymore.

"Why are you here?" Asaka finally aske after a moment of silence.

"I told you I'll visit you guys and it seems my decision to come is right as I managed to save you from being rape by Ren." Tetsu stared at her and noticed how Asaka shudder badly so he did what is right. He took of his coat and gently dumped it on the girl's shoulders, shielding her from the cold air.

"Thank you." Asaka lowered her head out of embarrasement.

Tetsu stared at her moment and he fished his phone from his pocket then he dialed a glanced up as she heard the dialing.

"Who are you calling?"

"Suiko."

"Why?"

"You'll be staying at her place as you can't sleep here after what Ren had done to you. " Tetsu explained then Asaka grabs his phone away from him and shut it off before Suiko on the other line could answer the call. He arched an eyebrow at her movements. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Stopping you from calling her."

"I know that but why?"

"I don't want them to know aboutmy situation as they'll be worried about me and I don't want to happen.." Tears forming again in the corner of her eyes then a calloused hand touches her face unlike the gentle hands this one is much warmer.

"I understand. I'll let you stay at my place but you know they eventually know something is off,you know that don't you?"

"Yes, I know and when that time comes I'll tell them everything" Asaka took hold of Tetsu's hands. "And thank you.."

A genuine smile crossed her lips as she'd seen Tetsu flustered at a simple gesture of affection what else if she kissed him? He'll definitely passed out from too much tension.

"Tetsu is such a gentle guy despite the intimadating exterior he always shown unlike Ren who has gentle and aloof aura but hides it's twisted personality.." Asaka paused as she stepped out in the tub, covering herself with a bath towel. She walked towards the mirror and place her hand on the surface but what her eyes saw is not herself reflection but her demons that hunts her."...Yet, Why did I not fall in love with him?.. Why did I fall deep in the abyss of nothingness and red flames of destruction?"

I guess love has its upside down but in Ren there's only one explanation of love, it's Hell.

Their relationship was a good start but things began to changed more likely Ren became a different person, reverting from his former self, A sadistic bastard. That's when she had encountered a demon face-to-face.

She took a deep breathed and release it.

She have decided what will she do with him.

If he won't stop then it will be the best to end their bond, After all, it's already far tainted and broken for it to be mended. It's the right choice.

She will not become his puppet anymore nor she will be fooled by his empty promises.

That's right,She will break up with him and live her life with the fullest than to suffer in his hellish hands.

"You want to do what?"

"I said I'll break up with Ren" Asaka repeated calmly while drinking her tea. She decided to tell Tetsu her plans about her relationship with 's the least she can do to return a favor. she'll break up with Ren but she won't date Tetsu as it will looks like she's using him as scapegoat to forget which she won't do as it's too cruel.

"Are you sure about this?" Tetsu asked hesitantly as he knew how much the girl loved Ren due to the fact even Ren had beaten her countless times she remained in his side despite suffering.

"Of Course, I am" Asaka set down her tea.

"But, I thought you said last night that you will-"

"I've changed my mind and this is my final decision." Asaka cut him off and went on as she stared at him with no emotions. "I'm tired, Tetsu. I know that Ren has some mental issues but as The doctor said his already cured so there's nothing to worry about him going berserk even knowing he might go crazy again. I stayed because I'd loved him and you know that. I thought he will changed but things only get worse . Our relationship is already strained . I'm a fool for believing things will worked out if he experience the warmth of love but it never did. All I got to see by remaining by his side is the color of black and red, Despair and , I'll end it before things get out of hand." She paused, clenching her fists.

"Asaka.."

"He'd already pulled the strings of me. Now, I'll cut it so he won't be able to control me with his fake promises.. I won't be be fooled by love again.."

I'm too tired and numb to feel it again..

"No! Please, Asaka. give me another chance to make up for everything!" Ren shouted, grabbing Asaka's hands but she snatched it away before he can ever hold it so he resumed by embracing her.

"Let go of me!" Asaka glared at him and said with finality. "No! I give you so many damn chances but you just wasted it and continue to ruined everything so we're over! Suzugamori Ren! Now, Let go!"

Ren shuddered at the harsh and cold tone of Asaka's voice and it keeps echoing in his head. She rigt. She had always forgive him and give him everything but he never does return such loving affection. All he ever did for her is to caused her pain and suffering. He had shown and make her experience what hell is than what he had promise, to make her feel like she is in heaven.

Ren reluctantly released Asaka and stepped back as she lowered his head. He doesn't want to see her walked away but he could hear her retreating form from him. He need to let her go now so she could be free from all the suffering he inflicted on her but..

He doesn't want to let go... He can't !

In time, he glanced up. time slowed down s red liquid dancing in the air as the girl he had let go a moment ago been lying on the ground, blood splattered around her and eyes becoming lifeless.

"Asaka!" He rushed over her as tears began to comeout from his eyes like an endless river.

In her hazy mind she could see Ren and heard him callling out her, telling her to hang on but what really caught her attention even her unfocused mind. It's crytal clear to her. She had heard it and seen it with her very eyes most especially she could feel Ren's love for her is real.

Warm droplets touhes her pale complexion.

"Please. Don't die! Asaka!"

Ren was crying.. He's crying for her . This is the first time Ren had ever cried for someone or from anything.

It makes her more giddy.

"Asaka .. Please, Don't leave me! hang on! I..." Ren choked out as he can't control his tears. "I love you! so please fight not for me but for those people who cares for you! They need you! I need you so.. "

Warmth overwhelmed her.

Ren loved her..He'd finally said the words she longed to hear from him..

He needed he and loved her.

Therefore, she will fight because maybe love isn't that dull at all.

Ren was sent staggering backwards as a powerful punched thrown straight to his face by the very furious Tetsu.

"This is your goddamn fault! If you just only treated her nicely then this won't ever happen to her! " Tetsu spat vehemously at Ren who is basically avoiding his gaze and the others since they've arrived at the hospital.

"Tetsu! Calm down" Suiko and Kyou are trying to hold back Tetsu for him not caused anymore ruckus because they might just be kicked out but that is the least of their worries because they should be thinking about Asaka's condition not about fighting. Nevertheless, Tetsu continues to struggle as he ignores their pleading.

Suiko let go of Tetsu and slaps him which shocks everyone including Ren.

"Whaa?"

"Calm down, Do you think Asaka will be happy to see you like this? Plus, this ruckus might affected the operation inside! Use your goddamn brain. Damn it!" Suiko glared at the two voice particularly at Tetsu.

"I'm sorry" Tetsu mumbled , his head finally cooling off.

Then . the doctor came out at that very moment and everyone was tense of the upcoming news.

The Doctor smiled assuringly and said. "Don't worry. you're friend is safe now. The operation is a success"

Everyon relaxes and cheered for the good news.

"Can we see her now?"

"She's still asleep but you can go in to check her just make sure that you won't wake her up as she needed sleep. "

They nodded vigorously and entered quietly in the said room.

Tetsu was about to follow them when he noticed that Ren didn't moved an inch.

"Aren't you going in?"

Ren shook his head and smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry for everything. Take good care of her for me , Will ya? Thanks and Goodbye.."

"Ren!" Tetsu called out.

But, Ren never turned back as he continue to walked away from them.

Be happy with the person who truly cares for you, Asaka.

As Asaka awoke from her consciousness the first thing she had asked is where is Ren and Tetsu already expected her question so he asnwered truthfully for the sake of his loyalty at the red-haired boy.

"He's gone.." Tetsu merely replied.

Asaka's eyes widened.

Ren's gone?!

Tears sprung at her eyes and Tetsu embraced her to consult and sooth her cries as she lashed out her hidden emotions towards Ren. And he did his best to explain the reason behind Ren's action but Asaka can't stopped herself from feeling remorse because it's her fault that Ren is gone. Guilt and anger built in her chest as she cried her heart's contents and fall unconscious of exhaustion and emotional fatigue.

Her world has fallen apart as the disappearance of the presence of her loved one in her life as he did what he had said to them but with a high consequences that caused her own life to be much broken and her colorful life before more become dimmer and duller as it would take time for her to recover and see and experience the joy of love and life but she would be fine it's just due in time for her to heal again her broken heart and soul.

Behind the dark shadows of the corner a certain red haired watching over her until the other person he had entrusted her fulfill his promise and responsiblity as he seized the opportunity given to his way while the red-haired accepted everything with a smile but eyes filled with longing as he can never return back to his old days as he was the one who ruined everything
