Emmett'sPOV

I was bored, moping around the house, totally and completely bored. There absolutely nothing to do, especially if you don't sleep a wink. Yeah, that means you can do more than humans but that also means you run out of new things to do. I could do something, like sky diving, of bungee jumping, but that would be drawing attention, probably and Esme and Carlisle don't want me to do anything to get me into trouble.

But anyway, I have nothing to do. What can I do, that can be fun and never gets old?

I could cook some of Nessies food that she doesn't eat. Its always fun, for me, to cook, even if I cant eat it. But even though Ness doesn't eat the human food Esme would still be mad, for some reason. She said to never touch her food, no matter if she eats it or not.

I growled in frustration on what to do. Its probably something stupid to get mad over, but I cant help it.

I got it! I'll take the jeep out for a spin. I haven't done that for a while, so now's the perfect time to do so.

I walked out to the garage and looked across it. Edwards Volvo was gone , along with the Mercedes and BMW, hunting. They left this morning, saying they would be back later today. I didn't feel like going, since I had to think the other night, so I guess went hunting then. I was good, till the next hunt.

They were going to take my jeep so they could go further into the woods and didn't have to walk, but I begged them not to because you would never know when I want it. My amazing jeep.

I looked over to my brand new looking jeep and smiled. This baby will never let me down, I thought walking over towards the back of the jeep. I slowly walked to the front, running my hand over the red paint.

"How about we go for a nice slow ride." I whispered to the jeep. I opened the door and sat down in the seat. I waited for the garage doors to raise then I stuck my key in the ignition and jammed on the gas, squealing the tires.

I drove for about 20 minutes. I decided to give the jeep a break, so I turned off the rode and turned the key, shutting off the engine. I realized, after I saw the sign, that I was in front of a bus stop. I found that, for some reason, weird.

I got out of the jeep and leaned up against the door, watching the people go by. A lot of them kept admiring my jeep then they spotted me and their eyes drifted to the ground, scurrying away, scared.

I chuckled, getting in my jeep and turning the key, but I didn't hear any indication that it was starting up. I turned it again and no sound.

"It failed me." I said in disbelief and smacked my hand off the steering wheel. I sighed and grabbed my cell phone, calling Alice, knowing she would have seen it.

It went to her voice mail and I thought Id leave a message, that was until I heard her voice mail, "Emmett, I know what you get yourself into and, of course, I saw it ahead a time, so I left this as my voice mail, since no one calls and I didn't want to scare away our food. But, anyway," She said all perky again after being so serious. " I called a tow truck and there coming to get you. Have fun." Her voice mail ended so I closed the phone.

Great, everyone thought I was so scary with this jeep and my looks, but now I'm getting picked up by a tow truck. Fantastic.
