I think we shall not meet again

Description: This is my first fan fic. …not much difference really(from the original story)I intend to make it different later on...It basicly sucks right now, but this is only a practice story.

Chapter one: Whats Your Hurry?

As we pulled into the harbor I could see clearly how London had changed. Next to me Anthony's eyes were wide and full of admiration for England.

"Mr. Todd. Isn't London wonderful?"He sighed. I looked out at the smoggy city, the bums in the street and the injustices being done.

"Anthony," I began," There are many cruelly beautiful things in this world. London is one of those things. You see. There was a barber and his wife, and she was beautiful! A foolish barber and his wife, but they transported him for life. And she was beautiful! And she was virtuous and he was-"I cleared my throat "naive" I continued my story and Anthony looked completely engrossed.

"The lady, sir…is she all right" He asked in his state of genuine concern.

I shook my head, "ah, that was many years ago…I really don't think anyone would know…"

"But sir, surely someone must kn-" I shook my head. "Well, Mr.Todd, if you should need assistance or money in the future you can probably find me at t- "

I cut him off." IF "I began" you should like to see me you might find me around Fleet Street, I wouldn't wonder" He nodded as we docked. I grabbed my coat and ran off the boat. I muttered to myself about how horrible London was, I really couldn't imagine why Anthony loved it so much. Along to the way to Fleet Street I lost my way and ended up in (believe it or not) an even seedier area. I bought a bouquet for my Lucy, and I brought home a new horror story for my little Johanna. I was relatively happy until I remember she was fifteen, for all I knew she could be engaged. I sort of lost myself in thoughts until I arrived in front of a shop I knew all too well. I read the sign in all it's faded glory.
