Wow, I don't like Code Name: KND, but here I am writing a fic on my two favourite characters; Kuki and Wally. It's a short, one-shot, sortof romantic fic!
Summary: After their mission, saving Bradley, Wally decides that he wants to tell Kuki that he likes her. A few memories of their past missions makes him want to tell her. But does Kuki like him back and will she admit she does.
Chapter 1:
(flashback)
Numba 3: Uhh,...Numba 4, what were you going to tell me before?
Numba 4: Oh, uhh,...that your shoe was untied!
Numba 3: No, that's not it!
Numba 4: Yes, it was!
Numba 3: No!
(end flashback)
Numba 4: Why didn't I tell her? Urgh, why can't I tell her I like her.
Numba 4 sprawled himself on his bed and started thinking about Numba 3.
(flashback)
Numba 14: Ok Numba 3, Truth or Dare?
Numba 3: Truth, silly!
Numba 14: Ok, do you like Numba 4?
Numba 3: Of course I like Numba 4, we're in the same unit.
Numba 14: Noooo! I mean like 'like like'! Hehehe!
Numba 3: You mean like 'like like, like like'?
Both girls: Yeahhhhh! Hahahehehehaha!
Numba 3: Welllllll,...
(end flashback)
Numba 4 decided to take a small walk around the tree house. He got off his bed and tiptoed out of his room. Very softly he could hear crying. Numba 3!
Numba 4: Kuki! (whispered)
He walked down the hallway to Numba 3's room and peeked his head in around the door. Numba 3 was tossing around in her bed, mumbling in her sleep. Numba 4 went in swiftly and walked up to her bedside.
Numba 4: Kuki? Are you alright? Kuki?
Numba 3: Num...ba ...4...help me...Num... ba...4! Hmmmm...huh? Numba 4? What are you doin' in here? Where's my 'Bedtime Rainbow Monkey'?
Numba 4: (spotting it on the ground beside him picked it up and gave in to her) Here ya go, Kuki!
Numba 3: Thanks, uh,... Numba 4.
Numba 4: Ya welcome!
Numba 3: Uh, why are you in here?
Numba 4: Oh, uh..., I , uh..., heard you crying, and came to see what was wrong?
Numba 3: Hmmmm...thanks, Numba 4!
(silence)
Numba 4: Well, I had better get back to my room, 'k, Kuki?
Numba 3: Uh, ok, Numba 4, g'night!
Numba 4: (thinking for a second) Ok! (gave her a kiss on the cheek and ran out fast)
Numba 3 watched as he ran out her room, she smiled and went back to sleep with Numba 4 in her dreams.
(Numba 3's Dream)
Numba 3 was in the park on a swing. She looked on her right and her red rainbow monkey was on the ground by her feet and she looked on her left and saw Numba 4, trying to touch the branch that was high up with his feet. She giggled at his efforts.
Numba 3: You'll neva reach that branch, y'know! It's too high up!
Numba 4: You can always hope, Kuki, that one day I'll be able to touch it! (aN; so OOCness, neva have N4 give you wisdom lessons, you'd be there forever, waiting for him to think of something wise to say)
Numba 3: Yeah, I know! Keep trying then, Wally!
Numba 4: You neva called me Wally before. This is like tha' first time ever.
Numba 3: Well, you call me Kuki.
Numba 4: Well, that is your name!
Numba 3: I know, but, but,...well,... your name sounds so cute! Hehehehehe!
Numba 4: Hey! So is yours! (swinging higher than before) I almost have it!
Numba 3: Wally! You're gonna fall off if you try going any higher, silly!
Numba 4: No, I won't! I promise!
(end Numba 3's dream)
