An immaculately clean room with a burning fireplace created a soft mood that was broken when a pair of humans walked into it bickering like an old married couple. The woman had black layered hairstyle and wore a flannel skirt and a green blouse that brought out the sparkle in her eyes. Around her neck she wore a bone that was dangling from a silver chain. Somehow it seemed appropriate as visible from the articrafts that were decorated around the room the pair had stepped into. Her name is Dr. Temperence Brennan and she is a forensic anthropologist, a famous mystery writer, a liaison to the FBI and certified genius. The man that had his hand on the small of her back was a finely toned, handsome man who wore a suit but the ordinariness of the attire was broken by the shiny tie and a belt that had cocky labeled on it in red. He wore it with pride and his raw confidence was easily visible from his stance. His usual easy demeanor seems to have been erased as his mouth was formed into a thin line and his eyes burned with anger and exasperation. This man is Dr Brennan's partner, not romantically but professionally. He is the FBi special agent who was blackmailed into taking the squint into the field. The partners had fallen into an easy friendship that developed with them giving up a bit of their pasts to the other and allowing each other to be there as a friend, confidante and when needed an understanding shoulder.
