-Prologue-

That night I remembered that the moon was larger and grayer that I have ever seen it. The bright stars and dark sky complimented the moon quite nicely. It may sound childish but I remember in that night that I wanted to reach out my hand and grab the moon to keep it for myself.

"More wine, Brother?" Tyrion asked me pouring more wine into my cup without waiting for my reply.

I leave my spot by the window to sit back down with my brother and take a sip out of my cup quietly. I don't usually drink but at this night I found myself drinking with my younger brother.

"It's a beautiful night." I say sounding out of character to my own ears.

"Yes, it's very fitting for tonight. I heard that the Starks had their 3rd child today. A girl I hear."

I take a larger sip of wine. "Why tell me that Tyrion? You know how I feel about Eddard Stark."

"I do. But you must know if the lord's of Winterfell have their child. It's expected of you." He tells me a matter of factly while chugging down his own wine.

"I don't care about what's expected of me." I growl more to myself than to him.

"Neither do I. But our lord father insists that we should and that's what the kingdom is also expecting from us."

Jamie turned silent after the hearing the word 'father'. He thinks of Joffrey and how he would never know the truth. Then he thinks of Eddard Stark and his family and then remembers that he could never have one for his own. He would never find the happiness that Eddard Stark has, he would never allowed to be with the one he wants, and he would never… All just to serve in the Kings guard and protect good ol Robert Baratheon while he fucked his sister.

I finished my wine quickly and prepared myself to leave.

"I must return to his grace." I mumbled to my brother.

"And to our sister, Cersei?" Tyrion asks with a knowing look.

I don't answer his question but before I left the room I asked him a question of my own.

"What is the Starks daughter's name?"

"Arya."
