(Raven's POV)
As the World Runs Red
Heavenly white and fiery red.
Calming blue and lonely black.
Colors reminding me of a past undead
Reminding me of the strength I lack.
Silent prayers of words unsaid.
So many emotions forever held back.
Kept safe and locked inside,
Inside my controlled, quiet mind.
With no one to tell, no one to confide.
It just wouldn't be fair to be playful and kind.
Because I am so pathetically weak.
Cursed with an unchanable destiny.
The creepy goth girl, the angry freak,
The one forevermore, unblessed to be
The daughter of Sin
Of the unamed 'Him'
One girl assassin
The reminder burned into my skin.
I open my eyes
To the world I knew
Red ruby skies
Raining blood on the one who-
Started it all
By being born.
Producing Earth's fall.
Left alone to mourn
For the little brother who made me smile,
For the big brother who always teased,
For the bright girl whose innocence brought reconcile,
And for the dark boy who did as he pleased.
They were the friends
I should never have had
And when their life ends
Taken thoughtlessly by my Dad
I swear I'll let it all free.
I promise to whimper, cry, and scream.
I pledge to the Gods that my soul I'll redeem-
For the life of my friends, happy days with my team...
Lying back in my bed with sunlight in a stream.
Holding myself, forgetting this hideous dream.
But if I cry, the tears will never end.
And if I wish, I'll go insane.
And even though I try to pretend,
There's always another birthday candle flame.
A new year of dread.
Another year of things left unsaid.
Remaining silent until my friends are dead.
And then weep forever as the world runs red.
