Christine gets her things together and opens the door.
"If I leave you now...he'll never let me see you again."

Christine gets into the car and shuts the door, never taking her eyes off of Erik's bedroom window.
"Are you okay?" Raoul asks as he starts to pull away from the curb.
"No, I don't think that I ever will be either."
"Okay."
"Raoul, I don't love you...I can't..."
"I'm sorry about that, you'll get used to me, I guess..."
"No."
"What?"
"Pull over, I'm going back to Erik."
"What! No way! You're not going back to...him!"
"Oh yes I am!" Christine reached down and pulled open the door. She hopped out of the car and began to run.

Christine kept running as it began to rain. She ran up Erik's drive way and stood before his front door.

"Erik! Erik! Open the door! Please!" She yelled as she tried to get the door open. Not hearing anything, she finally reached above the door and grabbed the spare key. She opened the door and ran up the stairs to his bedroom and knocked firmly on the door. It easily swung open and ran inside.
"Erik! Erik, where are you?" Christine saw a light on in the bathroom, she walked over and opened it. In the bathtub, Erik's fully clothed body lay submerged under the glittering blue water.
"Erik!" Christine cried out. She ran over to him and pulled him up into a sitting position.
"Christine." Erik gargled as water spurted from his mouth.
"Shhh, Erik I'm here. I'll never leave you again."
"No!"
"Erik, listen to me - I'd rather die than live a lonely life without you...I love you..."
"Christine, I'm so sorry...I'll never send you away again...you love me?"
"Yes...Yes I really do."
"I love you too."
