I was watching pirates of carribean:worlds end yesterday and could not resist writing a one-shot about Jack's compass. I know this is a bit out there but its a fantasy story, I mean do vampires come in through your window if so I'm so jealous but I hope you like it. I hope you like Edward's POV.
Edward's POV
I often wondered what Bella was thinking about but today it was killing me, it had been 2 weeks since Bella had fought with Jacob and we were currently in my room cuddled up on my leather sofa. She may be with me physically however mentally it seemed she would rather be on her own, I sighed reaching over to brush a stray hair from her face.; he looked at me to smile and snuggled into my chest, tucking her head under my chin. "Edward" I heard Carlisle call me softly from downstairs " maybe its time to get Bella home, remember her curfew" I groaned and I heard Esme do the same from downstairs, she was hoping she'd stay for dinner she loved having someone to look after again. "Bella" I whispered as I bent my lips to her ear, "hmm?' She answered leaning into my touch "do you know how utterly gorgeous you are?" I pulled her hair back, kissing behind her ear, I knew she liked it when I did that. " as much as I love the time I spend with you, I've got a curfew to abide by I think your father hates me enough as it is" I pulled us both up and she prepared her stuff to go. As we walked down the stairs Esme called to Bella " honey make sure you come back soon, we love having you and next time I'll cook you dinner" she smiled down at Bella and reached forward to wrap her arms around my love before I reclaimed her in my own arms.
Half an hour later we were pulling into Bella's driveway, I rushed around my car to open her door and offer her my hand to help her out of her car. "Such a gentleman" she laughed at me and I brought here hand to my lips kissing her knuckles. " wanna come in?" She asked "do you even have to ask?" I answered raising my eyebrows. I watched her put her key in the lock the door as we walked in I noticed a note from Charlie. "A package came for you today I put it in your room" I wonder what the package was, when I pointed to the message she shrieked pulling me by the hand up the stairs. On the bed was a small square package, she immediatly dropped my hand and picked up the package tearing the box open and taking the item out. Her body was positioned so I could not see it but when she turned I saw a metal box, I looked at her confused.
"I know you think I regret being with you but I never will, I love you and the only person I will ever want is you I will never want anything more than you. My grandmother Marie was what you might call a white witch and she made this, its a compass but instead of pointing north it points to what you want most" as she finished her explanation she opened the lid of the item in her hands and I saw what appeared to be a compass. As the lid revealed the inside of the compass the line began to spin around until it finally stopped pointing dead straight to my heart as I moved from my position next to the door the line followed my movement. I sat down next to her and gently took the compass from her hand and chucked it on the bed, I then lifted her so she was on my lap facing me. " the compass is wrong" she looked at me opening her mouth to speak hut I held a finger up " you said that it pointed at what you want most, you already have my heart" I crashed my lips to hers, my insecurities fading as her lips moved with mine. She was my Bella, she was mine.
