To see his Illinois home.
His final resting place is
Under sea and foam.
Colonel Sherman Potter is
'the new kid on the block.'
Things he weren't expecting
Came as a welcome shock.
And then Radar O'Reilly,
A great kid at the heart
He is still with the guys,
Though they are miles apart.
Trapper John got his orders and
Now he is away.
His friendships are still fairly strong,
And that is how they'll stay.
Captain BJ Hunnicutt
Is now part of the gang.
He is great friends with everyone
Through every boom and bang.
Corporal Maxwell Klinger,
Who wants a section eight.
He really wants to leave,
Yet he can't just fight with fate.
Major Frank Burns, or 'ferret face',
As he is known,
He is such a whiner,
Watching everything he owns.
Major Charles Winchester,
A great big ball of air,
A snobby, stuck-up doctor,
With not a lot of hair.
Captain Hawkeye Pierce
From Crabapple Cove in Maine.
Is a wonderful doctor
Raising lots and lots of caine.
Major Margaret Houlihan
An army nurse to the core.
Always gives her all,
Nothing less and always more.
And last, Father Mulcahy,
A great priest through and through.
A wonderful confidant,
And a great companion, too.
The personnel of MASH
At first, were barely friends.
The Korean War had changed them,
Now they're family to the end.
