The thing that woke him up is that he heard the voice of none other than Amy. (Again)
(A/N: sonic is up in the tree because he's hiding from Amy)
Amy on the other hand saw Sonic on top of the tree, Sonic! She yelled.
Sonic finally saw her and said "what's up .
Remembering what the heck happened on the other day, he ran away from her in hurry thinking about what she said.
He then slowed down after a few blocs after he saw a familiar cast of shadow.
It was knux (A/N: short for Knuckles )
:Yo sonic my man why you running!
: The usual, running away from you know who.
: How about you? Were you heading?
Suddenly he noticed the flower on knuckles hands. Wondering why it was there. (Then it hit him like ten thousand golden rings) he gave knuckles a wide smear more likely a huge smile.
Knuckles now noticed his friends face and said: "It's not for Rouge". Knuckles eyes widened and said "OOOPPPSSS!!! No one heard that right?"
Sonic Just stared at him and suddenly stared laughing.

: Sonic You better not tell anyone or the name Knuckles will come swinging right through you're head!

: Well see you back in the house!
Waving goodbye to knuckles he didn't run anymore knowing that Amy was far behind (and that's what he thought….)
