Children sliding and making snowmen
in the crisp winter breeze.
The tree in the window, bright with lights
and ordaments from years ago.
Memories hang on the mental of opening
the stockings in our pajamas.
Gingerbread cookies in the oven
making the house smell "oh so good."
Family time and friends are part of Christmas,
making memories, and having a good time.
