Falling
Ladybug and Chat Noir trusted each other.
They trusted each other during patrols and fight with akumas.
They trusted also each other in private with all kinds of things to talk about and ask advise, as long as it didn't reveal their identities.
With every situation they trusted each other and that was because they both knew that no matter what, the other would be there to catch them.
When falling and catching was mentioned it meant more then one thing.
During fights akumas would often attack them voilently and the two young heroes would end up getting thrown around like ragdolls.
They got hurt every now and then but were often saved by their partner catching them as they fell through the air or from a building or other high place.
It was the same story during patrol.
They patrolled the city of Paris together every night to make sure everything was alright.
While normally patrols were pretty quiet and easy to do, accidents could always happen.
One of them could slip on something wet or frozen or even get started by a bird and end up tripping, causing a fall.
Still, despite being less on guard than during fights, the other would always react fast and save their partner.
Ladybug and Chat Noir would Always be there to literally catch the other when said other was falling.
They also tended to fall and catch mentally.
Despite always appearing easy-going and cheerful to the public they had their problems.
Protecting a whole city like Paris from a maniac like Hawkmoth put a lot of pressure on the teens.
Due to that pressure that would become tressed and stress often led to a need to vent and for that they had each other.
They would often feel their confidence drop but one of them would always make up a small pep-talk to lift the spirit back up.
They did the same when one of them had personaly problems.
It was actually pretty selfish of the people of Paris but nobody ever really thought of how Ladybug and Chat Noir were real people who had lives outside of being heroes.
People just assumed they could always count on them to show up in minutes without any chance that they were busy somewhere else with school, work, family, friends or anything else.
The only ones who understood were Ladybug and Chat Noir themselves.
Due to how their jobs as superheroes took up so many time it would sometimes cause trouble in their real lives.
Because they couldn't tell anyone who they were they had to make up excuses that weren't always accepted, giving them problems with things they needed to do as well as with people they knew and that brought the poor kids even more stress.
Like with the stress of Hawkmoth, the stress of personal problems needed to be vented and would sometimes cause mental breakdown.
Luckily, just like with the other breakdowns, they would have their partner with them to talk to and comfort them untill they felt better.
Ladybug and Chat Noir would often fall mentally and the other would be there to catch them.
As they went by they both fell another other then by akumas, patrols or because of stress.
They fell for each other.
From the start Ladybug loved Chat Noir's civilian self without knowing it and he loved Ladybug without knowing who her civilian self was.
Still, as they grew closer in both lives they changed around each other.
They both slowly but surely fell for each other's other side, once again without knowing who the other was.
That is untill they did find out and were overjoyed.
They had both fallen for each other twice and they were both more then happy to catch the other with their heart.
