And so it was that Avatar Aang fell in the last great battle of the Hundred Year War. The newly united world mourned for him, as the great Avatar and as the young boy who was the very last of his people.
Time passed.
The world turned to other things. The new Water avatar, the political revolution in the Fire Nation, the economic rise of Omashu. The Earth still turned.
And for many years the wind was nothing more than wind.
The honorable Fire Avatar died, for there was never peace as the Avatar, and thoughts once again turned to the last airbender and wondered at the broken chain in the cycle. Where was the Avatar Sprit to go now?
But there are others who love the wind, who know the language of the sky. Two hundered years after the death of Avatar Aang , Teo's great-great-great-great-grand daughter laughed as she spun air through her fingers.
