"GET TO THE CHOPPA!" Coach shouted.
"SHIT! TANK!" Ellis screamed, throwing a pipe bomb off the side of the bridge. A car flew past Nick, and flying into the water below.
"LIGHT IT UP BOYS!" Rochelle called, firing a magazine into the oversized infected.
"RRAAAAWWGH!" The tank ripped a chunk of asphalt out of the street and hurled it, crushing a car, whose alarms wailed.
"HERE THEY COME!" Nick shot at the crowd of incoming infected. Somehow, they had managed to light the Tank on fire and it collapsed to the ground.
"LET'S GO PEOPLE! WE GOT A BIRDIE TO GE-AUGH!" A charger smashed into Ellis mid-sentence. The charger flew off the side of the bridge, taking Ellis with him.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Ellis screamed, falling into the water below.
"ELLIS!" Everyone yelled at once, but Ellis was gone.
"Attention all survivors, make your way to the evacuation vehicle or we will leave without you." This got Nick's attention.
"MOVE GUYS COME ON!" And he started running towards the helicopter, Coach and Rochelle behind him.
"Damn, Ellis… we were just getting to be friends…" Nick said to himself.
The three remaining survivors sat in the helicopter. Ellis was gone. None of them could believe it.
"Hey, honestly, I'm surprised he made it this far."
"Damnit Nick! How can you say that? He was your friend too!" Coach said angrily.
"Well, he was just a kid! I think we all knew he wasn't gonna last that long, right?"
"Unbelievable. After all the times he saved your sorry ass, Nick? It shoulda' been you!"
"…"
Nick stared at his shoes.
"I know."
