"I HATE YOU!"

Sora jumped to the side as the cloaked figure continued his attack, each hit was coming faster and harsher. He tried his best to concentrate on the battle, but those three words that came from the enemy had already made its way into his head. It was probably just a way to confuse him, because he knew for certain that the Organization XIII members hated him. Or at thought nothing of him but a tool to use for their own good. But this felt...different. There was so much raw emotion coming from the figure, and he couldn't help but wonder.

"Why?" he asked as he avoided another attack, his face showing his confusion. "Why do you hate me? What did I ever do to you?"

"Shut up! You took everything away from me!" the figure slashed at him with such speed and force that Sora had difficulty dodging in time. "I HATE YOU! I WISH YOU NEVER WOKE UP!"

Noticing how the other briefly slowed down, Sora took the advantage to do an attack on his own. He swiped his keyblade sideways, and caught his enemy by surprise if the now visible wide eyes was any form of indication. His enemy was a boy his age, with wind swept blonde hair and a youthful face. But what caught his attention was the blue eyes -same ocean blue eyes as his own- that was now filled with already spilling tears. He wanted to ask him why he was crying. that he thought that Nobodies didn't posess a heart to draw emotions from. But before he could, the blnde boy glared at him. So much hatred, anger, sadness...Sora momentarily forgot how to breathe.

"I never asked to be a Nobody! I'm my own person! I have a heart. I'm sure of it! But then...but then you had to wake up. I couldn't be with my friends anymore...I can't laugh and joke around with Axel anymore. I just want to enjoy some time with my best friend!" A choked sob escaped the boy, more tears falling from those deep blue orbs. His attack gained back it's force as he began to shout. "How come you get to live the life that you want when I can't! It's not FAIR!"

The fight continued on. everytime Sora tried to say something, the other boy would attack him quicker. Obviously not wanting to hear what the brunnet had to say. But why wouldn't he listen? Sora didn't understand how all of this had to do with him, though deep inside he felt guilt. For some reason, deep in his mind, he knew that he was at fault for the Nobody's pain and suffering.

Then the battle ended. Sora had won.

The boy stood there and whiped at his eyes with his sleeve, then gave Sora a small smile. The brunette could see it clearly. Sadness, and most greatly, resignation. His heart ached at the sight.

"Sorry for venting on you. I'm really not like this usually, but I couldn't stop myself..." he then walked forward and went past him, patting his shoulder on his way. As Sora spun around to see where the blonde would go, the young Nobody turned his head slightly to the side with a small grin. "You make a good other."

Sora never felt as if a weight was lifted from his heart.

Greetings and salutation. So to put this simply, I like Roxas. I think he's a good character, and I feel rather bad for him. And you know, I thought he deserved some time to vent out his feelings, you know? So I changed the shindig of his battle against Sora. I'm aware that I did a pretty crappy job at this, but my whole point in writing this fic was to kind of show how Roxas got the short end of the stick.
