I add my thanks to Mrs, Rowling for her wonderful characters and world that inspires the imagination.

The Christmas feast always pleased Albus Dumbledore, perhaps more than any other function at Hogwarts. This year only four students and four professors remained. He delightedly watched Harry and Ron eating much more than their slim frames might suggest they were capable of, rivalling Hagrid which was a remarkable feat in and of it's self. Dumbledore smiled, a warm heart felt feeling of cheer swept over him. He nodded to Professor McGonagall who tapped her crystal goblet with a butter knife calling everyone's attention to the headmaster.

Clearing his throat, Dumbledore began, "My fellow revellers, how I delight in your company. I am privileged for your warm companionship during this most merry of seasons. I have not experienced a more rewarding Christmas in these many years. For one and all my gracious thanks for your wonderful and most useful gifts. I only hope I was, in some small manner, able to reciprocate your generosity. My dear Minerva, how so thoughtful for a lifetime supply of Lemon Drops. I fear I shall soon be devoid of teeth, such is the manner I relish these small treats. You have my deepest gratitude. Sybil, my dear friend, I can not imagine a finer ball of crystal in all of Briton. It is a splendid work of craftsmanship, thank you so very much. Hagrid, my faithful friend, I shall receive endless pleasure from the Yeti-wool slippers, my toes shall stay warm as toast all winter. Many thanks my friend. Severus, I have the feeling your Theory of Potions: The Transcendental Incidence of Time, Ingredient, and Enchantment shall be the primary source for potion makers throughout the magical community worldwide. A magnificent work, my esteemed colleague, I am privileged to receive the very first copy, thank you. Colin, I shall cherish your staff photo for the rest of my days. How lovely the composition. Thank you dear boy. Hermione, you are the cleverest witch of your age. An original copy of 101 Magical Remedies for the Busy Wizard. I shall read it eagerly to hopefully be less busy this term. Alas, I fear it may be the price of office though, I have no greater love than my family here at Hogwarts so it is worth any sacrifice. Ronald, season tickets for the Chuddley Cannons. Thank you so much, perhaps this shall be their break out year, we can only hope. You are most kind. Harry, I can think of no better gift than a pair of fine, wool socks. You have no idea how important socks are in the course of things, I find most to take them for granted. Thank you, very sincerely, thank you. As you all can see, I have been most fortunate to be in your thoughts this Christmas season, I have only the highest hopes the rest of our year is just as wonderful. You each have my humble gratitude, thank you."
