Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight or Tanz der Vampire.
A/N: I haven't finished New Moon yet, so this is based strictly off Twilight.
Follow me, trust the night!
Only it can save your soul.
Curse the day and its power!
Loose the longing for all your chains.
I yawned and stood up. "I'm getting tired, Dad. I'm gonna go to bed." Charlie took his eyes away from the game that was on TV to look at me. "All right, sleep tight." Despite my limited acting skills, I was able to seem like that I was about to fall asleep right there as I waddled towards the stairs. As soon as I was sure that Charlie had become immersed in the TV again, I broke into a mad run.
"Bella," he called to me as I entered the bedroom.
"I'm here, Edward. I'm ready."
"Are you sure you want to do this? You've considered all the consequences and complications? You are fully aware of what you're doing?"
"Yes." Edward took the coat off my bed and slipped it on me and zipped it.
Follow me, come feel the night!
Reality is only what we believe it to be
Flee from what guards you
Don't let anyone steal your dreams.
I jumped on his back and ran. Before I knew it we were out of the house and in the middle of the surrounding Forest without even being noticed. Edward started to ask me again if I really wanted to do this. I cut him off.
"Please, Edward, just do it." I push myself up closer to him.
Over graves and ruins
Funeral bells will sound
And all the devils will rise up
And all the angels must fall.
I felt the sensation of Edward skin touching mine. His hot breath grazed across my neck and I savored the moment. Yes! Yes! Suddenly, he backed away.
"No, Bella. I can't do this to you. I can't!"
We are hungry for crime
We long for blood
We live only for our greed
And feed our brood with poison.
"Edward, please…"
"No!" I turn away and look up at the moon's light peaking through the trees.
"You are not the only vampire in Forks," I reminded him darkly.
"They will not help you." A horrid silence filled the clearing. Finally, I turned around and walked slowly towards Edward.
"Come on, Bella. Let's go."
In one swift motion, I jabbed my neck into Edward's fangs. I knew of how delicate the process was, but I was more than ready to take the risk. Edward pulled away, and I fell to the ground. It had worked. As the crushing pain made its way throughout my body I smiled, and I believe that beneath his indifferent façade, he was smiling too.
The world in the daylight
Has never made anybody happy
So dive into a sea of nothing
Where it's always dark and cold
And when you are intoxicated by the darkness, then feel,
Feel the night.
Feel the night!
