Ally's POV
"Sweetie. It's time to go!" my dad yelled from downstairs.
Confused? You see 6 years back my dad and I used to live in Alaska in a very huge house. My best friend used to live nearby. His name was Austin Moon. Well at least I thought he was my best friend. When we were both twelve, Austin ditched me for popularity. He replaced me and got his first girlfriend Cassidy. Here's what happened-
Flashback
ALLY'S POV
Ugh! I am so pissed off. Austin is not answering his stupid damn phone. It's my birthday today and he promised me that he would be the first one to wish me! It was already 9 pm and people slowly started vacating my house after my awesome birthday party. Then one last time I called him and this time he did answer
Austin/ally
"Hey Austin. Where are you?"
"Why do you care you ugly freaky nerd? You're just a pain in the ass"
My eyes started tearing up. Was that really Austin? My sweet best friend who promised me that he would never ever make me cry?
"What are you saying austi….."
Austin cut me off
"Listen nerd, I don't ever want to speak to you and look at your stupid, ugly face ever again. i have a new best friend or should I say girlfriend now who will bring up my social status unlike you. So just freaking leave me alone"
And with that he cut the call. Tears were streaming down my eyes uncontrollably. How could he say such mean stuff to me? I've practically known him my whole life! And he just ditches me for another girl? Did our friendship mean nothing to him? I threw my phone in anger. I just ran all the way up to my room and slammed the door shut. I started crying inconsolably now. I thought he was my best friend. I even had a teeny weeny crush on him. Slowly I cried myself to sleep. Just like that a small phone call ruined my twelfth birthday.
Time skip
Austin and his gang along with his girlfriend Kira have been making my life a living hell. Especially Kira. She shoves me, calls me rude names, pulls my hair ad bully's me a lot. Even Austin. I don't understand what I ever did to them. I couldn't handle it anymore. I was only in middle school for god's sake. Everyday I'm greeted with paper balls, and insults. Last night I got the news that my dad was opening a record company called sonic boom. It was also half music shop. Well I'm moving to Miami tomorrow.
End of flashback.
And now after 6 great years I am moving back to that hellhole
Alaska. I have to face that jerk. That backstabber who ruined my childhood and my health.
Just how great is my stupid damn life?
