One Punch Luffy
I do not own One Punch Man nor One Piece, they belong to their respective creators.
Hello readers, Rudeus here. This is my first story. The idea for this story just came to me one day and I just had to write it down. Taking into account how this story was first conceived, I have no clear direction for how this story is going to go so I'll just wing it. Due to this please forgive me for very long or spontaneous update times. Chapters will come out when I feel like it. With that out of the way let's things started.
"Luffy don't eat that!" Shanks yelled.
Luffy stopped mid bite. Shanks quickly snatched the fruit from Luffy's hands.
"Do you know what you almost did?" He sighed when he got a confused look. "This is the Gumo Gumo fruit, one of the Legendary Devil Fruits. It grants whoever eats it amazing powers, but in return the seas will reject you and you will never be able to swim again. Tell me Luffy do you want to be an anchor?"
Luffy shook his head. "What kind of idiot pirate goes out to sea knowing they can't swim?"
At that moment thousands of pirates and marines all over the seas simultaneously sneezed.
"I'm glad you understand Luffy. Here I'll give you this instead." He took out a small book from the same chest the fruit was in.
"A book? What do I do with a book?"
Shanks bonked him in the head it.
"You read it idiot. This book is from a treasure cave we found in the grand line I'm sure it has plenty of interesting stuff in it."
"Meh. Whatever." Luffy pocketed the book. "Ne Shanks won't you consider letting me join your crew."
Shanks sighed.
"See you Luffy! Don't get into too much trouble!" Ace yelled from his boat.
"See you later Ace!"
Luffy waved back until Ace was only a speck in the horizon.
He started walking back to Dadans place, hands behind his head, to see if they had any food. It was then that a book fell out of his pants into the dirt.
"Hm? What's this?" He picked it up.
The book was very old and torn in the edges. He opened the book and saw strange arcane writing that was definitely not the universal literature. Compared to what people might think Luffy could actually read.
He flipped through the pages until a piece of paper fell out. It was different from the rest of the book as the paper was less old and the handwriting was different from the book and was understandable.
Luffy read it.

A man stood on the edge of a cliff. He wore blue jean shorts, a red button up vest, slippers and on his back strapped to his neck was a straw hat. He looked into the sunset with a bored almost sleepy expression. This man is Monkey D. Luffy and he was….bald.
