Written for the Once Upon A Time: Forbidden Love Challenge.

Pairing: Molly/Teddy

Prompt: Jewel

Lips, soft, supple lips

pushing forcefully,

roughly against hers.

And, oh, the moment

is perfect.

Despite the fact

that it's taking place

is the girl's bathroom

at the Three Broomsticks.

In the back stall, he

has her pressed

against the stall door,

moaning.

One of her long, lean

legs wrapped around his

waist, the other holding her up.

He breaks the kiss,

looks at his watch

(a coming-of-age

gift from Harry.)

"I have to go. Bye."

And then he's gone.

But it's okay,

because she's

used to it. He

never stays.

She stares out her

bedroom window.

And for the

first time,

she wonders

that maybe she

shouldn't be

okay with him

never staying.

She knows why

he can't stay.

It's because

Molly+Teddy

is so so wrong.

It's so forbidden,

illicit, so taboo.

She knows it's

wrong. But its

the secrecy, the

temptation of

the forbidden

that makes it so

exciting.

She knows she

shouldn't be in

love with her cousin's

boyfriend.

But she is.

The next time

she sees him,

it's at Christmas,

the entire family

gathered around

at Uncle Harry's.

For some reason,

Teddy has always

been considered family.

He sits between

her (his lust)

and

Victoire (his love)

And one hand is

under the table, holding

Victoire's hand.

But the other is

creeping up in between

Molly's thighs.

They laugh, pretend

they are nothing more

than cordial acquaintances.

But it's then

when she notices

it. An enormous

diamond ring, on

Victoire's finger.

Pain stabs through

her heart like knives.

She supposes she

always knew this day

was coming. Always

knew it would end

(for good)

But she still couldn't

accept it.

She's not surprised

when they announce

the engagement at dinner.

And Teddy was

watching her the

whole time, eyes

pleading for

her approval.

(He doesn't

get it.)

Tears threaten,

and she excuses

herself to the bathroom.

(Its no shock when

he follows her)

"Please, Molly."

"No. What do

you want me to

say? That I'm happy

for you? I'm not a liar,

and don't expect me

to be overjoyed

that you're getting

married. You've strung

me along for too long.

I'm done."

And she leaves,

image of Victoire's

sparkling jewel

in her mind.

(That night,

she dreams

of herself

wearing it)

For all her resolve

that she was done

with him, she couldn't

stay away from him.

She actually

managed to stay

away from him for

quite a while. At

least until he came

back from his

honeymoon.

The day he came

back, he Apparated

into her apartment,

her resolve crumbling.

He shows

her what it is

to make love for

the first time. She

doesn't care (too much)

that his experience came

from Victoire

It was just

so wrong, so

forbidden, to

be with him.

And she loved it.
