Kyo looked up at the clock. He jumped up and bolted towards the door. He had promised Tohru that he would pick her up from work and now he was almost lare. He ran as fast as he could and arrived with only seconds to spare. He stood across from the door when Tohru appred. She walked over to himm with the smile on her face that made his heart skip a beat. He quickly regaind his compuser before Tohru could ask if anything was wrong. She smiled and looked at him "You know Kyo-Kun you didn't have to walk me home." Kyo shruged "I Promised you that I would not to metion the perverts that are out there. If you walked home alone one of them might do something and then I would never be able to forgive myself. Not to metion that damn rat Yuki would never let me hear the end of it!" He added the Yuki part as an after thought to cover for himself. He didn't want Tohru to know that he had feelings for her. She just coninued to smile at Kyo. Kyo looked at her and gave her a small smile in return. He reached out for her hand like he normally did when they walked together. "Come on if we don't hurry up that damn rat and perverted dog will come looking for us." Kyo said practlly pulling Tohru along. They walked along the pathway that they had walked down so many times before. Finally Tohru couldn't stand the pain from Kyo pulling on her arm. She knew he didn't mean to hurt her but sometimes he didn't know his own strength. "Um...Kyo-Kun could you please not pull on my so hard?" He stoped walking and droped her hand. "Tohru I didn't mean to hurt you, I guess...Well it's getting late if I don't have you home soon that damn Yuki will have my head." Kyo replyed rubbing the back of his neck awakardly. Tohru just stood there smiling that goffy smile of hers that kyo couldn't help but return. Tohru looked at the tree they were stoped under. It was finally spring and after the winter being as cold and tough as it was Tohru had wanted nothing more then to see cherry trees along this path bloom. She reached up and picked a bloom and smelled it. "You know blooms like this remind me of my mother." Kyo looked her talking the bloom from her hands and tucking it behind her ear. "And how is that?" He asked her looking down into her eyes. "When I was younger my mom and I used to go on picnic's and have them under blooming trees like this." Tohru replyed thinking about the times when she was yonger and her mom was alive. It brought a smile to her face and a tear to her eye. She missed her mom terribally and these were the memories that made her want to cry. "I miss her Kyo-Kun." She whispered looking at him. He couldn't help himself he couldn't stand seeing her like this he cupped her cheek with his hand and leaned in and kissed her. Tohru was shocked at first but after a couple of seconds melted into the kiss. Kyo pulled away from her and looked at her "I'm sorry Tohru I had to do that. I can't stand to see you that way and I just wanted you to be happy again and I wanted to see you smile again because I love your smile and I love it when your happy but just most of all I love you Tohru." he said bracing himself for rejection from the only person he had ever really loved. Tohru smiled wide at Kyo's words "Kyo I love you too." She replyed smiling the biggest smile Kyo had ever seen. Tohru grabbed his hand and stared to walk back to the house. As they walked into the sunset they relized that they were ment to be together and would be together forever.
