Over You
Sam loved every season. Her least favorite though was winter. Made her sick and she couldn't go outside. It was mid-February and Sam was standing by her balcony doors looking at the snow falling. She loved to cuddle Jason during the winter. She missed that the most.
Sam decided to go to bed. She was walking to her room when she decided to check on Danny. He was sleeping so soundly. She gave him a quick kiss and stood up. She noticed Jason's picture on the dresser. Tears started to form in her dark brown eyes. Sam needed him. She needed his strong arms. She needed Jason but she had the next best thing, Danny.
When Sam finally went to her room. she couldn't hold it anymore. She fell on her knees crying.
"Jason! why? why did you go away?" she was sobbing uncontrollably by now
"How Dare You!" she got angry "How dare you leave me alone" she was screaming at his picture. "Baby I miss you" she hugged his picture. "Everyone says I'll be okay but this pain baby I'm not going to ever get over losing you! I love you" still clutching his picture she sat with her back on the side of the bed.
"This place feels so alone without you. I see you in every corner of this place. I don't know how to keep going but when I think about you I know I shouldn't be afraid because you would want me to be happy and continue on strong for our son." she got quiet for a bit while silent tears feel down her soft cheeks. "I never believed you were gone. It only sunk in, you know, when I saw it in stone. how dare you baby go before me and leave me alone, I miss you so much it hurts."
The little three year old Danny, didn't remember his daddy but he knew his mommy and he knew she was upset. Her crying woke him up. He walked over to her room and saw her talking and crying.
Sam was on the floor holding Jason's picture when the little boy crawled into her lap and hugged her.
Sam held onto her son like she was never going to let him go.
"Danny daddy loved you so much"
"I love daddy so much too" The little boy hugged her and grabbed the picture of his daddy.
"Me too baby" Sam said hugged both of her boys
