Chapter 1: Glasses
Her honey eyes flickered rapidly as she tried to search for him through the thick, ever growing crowd in front of her. Shaking her head as a sign of defeat, she looked up at the white lettered arrival board and bit her lip in frustration. "Where is he?" she inquired inpatiently. Tossing her carnation pink hair over her shoulder, she slid her silver dual screen phone out of her pocket and glanced at the time: 11:40 a.m.
"They're coming!" she heard a small boy cry out and immediately directed her gaze to the endless amount of people flowing out of the customs line.
She looked around at the crowd beside her filled with people holding signs as the awaited the return of their loved ones. She immediately berated herself for being one of the ones who didn't, especially since it had been years since she had seen him.
She sighed and turned her attention to the line again. Hope arose within her as she saw him- the one she was waiting for- subtly push up his glasses and search through the crowd for the person his sister had sent for him. She promptly ran over to him with a joyous expression on her face. "Kairi-kun!" she cheerfully shouted. Her glee-filled eyes gave way to her signature smile. "Welcome back!" she added.
