chapter one

The fire-nation had invade my home and took my whole tribe so that can survive out in the freezing temperatures of the south pole, They have a bass about 40 miles away form our tribe. We were lucky that they left us alone but every new moon they would come to get supplies and barley leave us anything. The first time they came, they out number us , My mother was killed, she was trying to protect the avatar, thou no one knows who she or, he is. The last avatar died over 17 ago, Three years before I was born. My mother knew the avatar, She traveled with him and her brother Sokka, to the Northern Water Tribe. Zhao invade the North Pole, He killed the moon spirit along with the avatar. My mother and Uncle got away,

"Mika," I looked to see my uncle, We were close , closer than anything else in the world. It was my moms dying wish that he would take care of me. I was tying knots for fishing nets as a part to my everyday to do list. "We need to talk," I drop my fishing nets and follwed him into the family tent.

"How do you know that I am the one," I ask picking up an old toy I uesd to play with when I was just a child, It was a doll that wore a southern water tribe dress and with her hair tied in to braids, She look like another water tribe girl. But I did not, My hair was jet black hair that had curls in it, that I kept in braid most of the time, My skin was the color peach, more fair rellay. But the only thing that seem normally about me was my eyes, I have my mothers eyes, Ive been told that my whole life, I even look like her.

"We've know you were the avatar for a while now," Said My uncle, He and few other warriors were with him.

"We were suppose to wait till you were 16 but since the fire nation has over ran us it only a matter of time before they found out your true identity till you were 16(I was really 14)," said Luke , one of the warriors.

"Mika," I drop the doll"We need you," A cold chill ran down my spine, a familiarly Dej`vu I could not take this any more form the moment they told me who I was. I got up and turn ran out of there, with Sokka calling after me, Not looking back. I just needed to get away form here.
