AN: This is for Day 1 of Quinntina Week, the theme is St Patrick's Day and other Spring Holidays. I'm going the St Patrick's Day angle here.

Special thanks to my lovely editor, Snix. (No relation to Santana or Naya Rivera.)
I interrupted her marking, so as a result she was still in teacher mode when she edited this. She gave me a B+.
Highest grade I have ever received from an English Teacher.

"Ok, and Tina has the floor" Mr Schue announced at the end of rehearsal. "Thanks, Mr Schue. Mrs Fabray has been doing research on her family tree and in the spirit of her newly embraced Irish ancestry, she has decided to invite the Glee Club to a St Patrick's Day party at the Fabray house next week."

For the most part, the Glee club was very excited at this turn of events; Mrs Fabray's parties were legendary and would more than likely have some easily accessible booze. The other part, however, was confused by the source of this announcement and looked around to see who was brave enough to make a comment about it. Apparently, the answer came in the form of Mr Schue stepping forward.

"Tina, why are you announcing this instead of Quinn?" he asked, trying to avoid Quinn's ever increasing glare.

"Judy and I are close. We have tea together, while I wait for Quinn to finish getting ready when I pick her up for dates." Tina explained with a shrug of her shoulders. "It's true, they ruin my entrances with their giggling" Quinn tried hard to sound bitter, but there was a smile in her voice at knowing that her mother got on so well with her girlfriend.

"There is no way Mrs Fabray is so accepting of her daughter's girlfriend! No way! When Rachel dragged me to see Quinn during the summer and left me alone in the living room, Mrs Fabray combined scary Quinn and scary mother, and handed me a book on dinner etiquette!" Finn shuddered at the memory.

"Oh, dinner etiquette, you think that's bad, she gave me a box of condoms, a book about how babies are made and a promise that if she hears about any more children I've fathered, she'll personally make sure that I'll never be able to have sex again. She was so polite about it…it was eerie. Am I invited to the party anyway?" Puck interjected, wanting to get back to the important point.

"That's what those books were for? I thought Mom just left them around as a hint to keep me out of trouble! Talking about the party, how come I'm only hearing about it now?" Quinn asked, wandering how she spends so much time with the organizers and yet, this was the first she had heard about it.

"Quinn, hun, we were planning it at Friday night's dinner. You helped pick out the appetizers" Tina said, walking up and pulling Quinn into a side hug, to try and help her remember.

"I thought it was a church thing! If I knew it wasn't a church thing I would have suggested chocolate covered bacon!"

"I've got that covered", Tina confirmed.
