My attempt at a Gumshoe/Maggey story. I've been writing for nine years (but this is the second story I posted on here) so if you notice something wrong, please tell me. I'm working to improve my writing since I plan on to become a writer on the side. Keep it friendly though. I know I have problems with the characters' personalities so please try to ignore that. None of the Ace Attorney series and its characters belong to me.

The garden that the group had found at first was a complete mess. Debris was everywhere and plants were dying or already dead. It was astonishing how they fixed it up so beautiful. They had replanted the flowers within weeks, trimmed the trees, and fixed the gazebo's roof. Everything was now decorated in white.

Miles, Phoenix, Franziska, and Maya all stood there befuddled under the white gazebo. How could an innocent crush turn into a wedding? Here they were, at Gumshoe and Maggey's wedding. Edgeworth and Phoenix were groomsmen and Maya was the maid of honor. They even made Pearl the flower girl.

The only one that wasn't dumbfounded was Pearl, of course. She did give Gumshoe a talking to earlier, however. She then proceeded to give Phoenix the same warnings, which both he and Maya quickly told her it wasn't like that. She didn't seem to listen.

The entire whiteness of the wedding made them a little sick, though they thought it suited the bride and groom perfectly.

"But even the tuxedos are white," Maya exclaimed. "Why couldn't they've left them black?"

"How did they even afford this?" Miles asked. Franziska agreed with a nod.

"Maybe black ones were more expensive?" Maya continued on her rant about white tuxes.

Phoenix raised an eyebrow at her. "And how exactly would white tuxedos be cheaper, Maya?" He almost knew what her answer was going to be.

"Because they don't have to dye them," Maya stated with a smile.

"They don't dye tuxedos."

The bridal march quieted them and they looked toward the white trellis decorated with, of course, white roses.

Maggey's gown had a veil that reached down to her middle back and a train that seemed never ending. Franziska and Miles repeated their earlier statement in a whisper and yet again, no one answered them.

Pearl's flowers decorated Maggey's path to the gazebo. Maya noticed that Pearl seemed a little mad when the bride stepped on one.

Maggey reached her groom and they both stood there, looking into each other's eyes. The vows were said, the rings were exchanged, and then the bride and groom kissed. The wedding party had been so puzzled by the idea of them getting married that they forgot that event would happen. It caught them unexpectedly.

Gumshoe and Maggey marched out to the reception by themselves. They had wanted it that way. As the wedding party was leaving, Maya mentioned something about where were they having their honeymoon.

This question was responded to by a "Be quiet, Maya."

"What? I was just asking?"

The group had an innocent image of Gumshoe and Maggey and they wanted to keep it that way.

Pearl then asked, "What's a huni-moon?"

Maya smiled and replied, "A honeymoon is where the bride and groom disappear to, have fun and the they have-"

"MAYA!" the group shouted.

"What? I was going to say they have children!"

The rest of the group excluding Pearl cringed at the thought again of the not-so-innocent picture. They all got in Mile's car and drove off to the reception.
