Hello all! this is a story for a prompt that me and my sisters are doing, I'm doing Golden Trio, one is doing Maruauders, and one is doing next gen, the prompt was, "it was a snowy evening,"
It was a snowy evening, and Harry was looking for something to do while Ron and Hermione were at Hogsmeade and he was feeling downtrodden about having nothing to do. Lupin was ill, so he couldn't go to him again. He had actually done all his homework, because of Hermione's insistence. He was moping through the halls through the Halls of Hogwarts when he ran into a certain pair of Weasley Twins.
""Ello Harry, what are you doing in the castle instead of Hogsmeade with the others?" Fred inquired.
"I haven't got a permission form," Harry muttered, bored of people asking him this.
"Well that clears things up because we were looking for someone to help us with a prank," said George.
Harry raised an eyebrow, "What do you need?" he asked suspiciously.
"We need someone to distract Filch while we set up."
"No way," said Harry, not eager to get detention.
"Fine then you and Fred will set it up, I'll go distract them," said George.
"Fine," said Harry desperate for something to do.
"Brilliant," the twins said together.
Ten minutes later, Harry asked."So what are you going to do exactly?"as they climbed through a passage-way, "and where did you find this passage?"
"All information will be revealed in good time Harry, and for the prank, we're going to set of ten dung-bombs off in the teacher's lounge," said Fred.
"Won't Flich be in there?"
"Nope, he stays in his office all day, except when he's prowling the hallways," replied Fred.
"How do you even know that?"
"Harry, we know everything," said Fred ominously.
After the prank which was spectacular and they didn't even get detention, Harry went back to the common room.
"Oh my gosh Harry everyone was so scared that Sirius Black was going to pop out and kill everyone," started Hermione as they came back.
When she was finished, Hermione asked,
"So Harry, what did you do while we were at Hogsmeade?"
"I helped play a prank with Fred and George," said Harry.
"WHAT," screamed Ron.
"What is it," asked Harry.
"Did they give you anything at the end?"
"Yeah… a glass of water, why," he asked.
"Oh no, this happened to me once it's probably going to happen any second," said Ron.
"What, what-" but Harry was cut off, when boils had exploded all over his form.
"Yeah… that'll last 24 hours," said Ron, "I mean, from experience."
"I can't go around the common room like this!" screamed Harry.
"Just stay in the dorm all weekend."
That day, Harry James Potter swore to never to help Fred and George Weasley with a prank or anything ever again.
