The Fight for Power

"Each of you has had this power, used it without question. Now the time has come when you will have to defend it. Are you ready, will you be able to keep what is yours or will you allow your irrisponsibility cause the downfall of us all. It is not enough to defend against this threat, you must destroy it at it's roots. You seven are the only hope now. Do not fail you planet."

Moebius: The Anti-verse

In a grungy room inside of a run-down castle sits three figures. They appear to be making battle plans for some sort of upcoming fight. "Ok so both of dumb-asses get the plan now?" One of the figures, a green hedgehog, barks at his two 'companions'.

"Of coarse, it's not that complicated," replies a short yellow-furred fox. "we just go to Mobius, find where the chaos emeralds are hidden and take them."

The third, a brown chipmunk, chimes in," Not complicated, but also not possible."

"Really Alicia, you rebelled against me, but you're too afraid to go against those chumps who think they're better than us? That's pathetic even for you."

"If you remember correctly the last time you faced off against one of them, you got thrown into zone jail."

"Shut up, you don't know what it's like in there. They can take any power you can possibly have and find a way to neutralize it. I mean they were even able to take my powers away, and that's a pretty big accomplishment connsidering how powerful I am.

"Ya and you keep lettin' it go to your head, we're gonna have problems...again."

"My, my Alicia, you've gotten an attitude. Now get your ass outta here and gather the others before I put you in your place," the hedgehog finished with a snarl.

"Ya whatever you royal dick."

"And you better remember you're talkin' to royalty!"

With a disgusted look she leaves to find the rest of their 'Suppression Squad'.

"You still never told us what we need to get the chaos emeralds for."

"That's simple: to destroy them."

With a horrified look, Miles asks, "Wh...what do you mean destroy them?"

"I think your smart enough to understand what the wordh 'destroy' means."

"But why would you want to do somethin' like that?

"It's simple really, the same way I was able to draw power from the Master Emerald, there are others who draw power from all the chaos emeralds. Our only advantage is that they don't know the root of power themselves."

"If they don't even know about this, then how do you?"

"I still have a link with the Master Emerald and I can see things. Even though it's in a whole nother dimention, anyone linked with it can still draw power from it. I'm guessing that power also includes knowledge to help take down anyone in your way."

"So what you're saying is if we deastroy the emeralds, we'll actually be able to beat them."

"That's what I'm sayin."

"Then what are we waitin for?"

"That slut to get back with the others."

"Well let's go then because they're comin' now."

"Ok let's go," Alicia says as she enters the room with a purple walrus wearing portable cannons around his hands, a coyote with an eyepatch and a sword, and a deranged looking pink hedgehog weilding a hammer, spiked on both ends.
